There is NOT A CHANCE IN HELL that Mundine will fight any of Pavlik/Abraham/Sturm.

Face it guys, Mundine will never fight a top operator EVER AGAIN. He's moved down to 160 because he's run out of bums to fight at 168.

I've honestly had it with Mundine. I bet his next 3 fights will be Solimon 4, Taylor 2 and ooo I dunno some cab driver.

yeh, this taylor fight will say a lot about chocs future IMO. Ok he hasnt fought the best opposition of late, but all the journeyman he fought were fukn tough as nails and so doesnt surprise me that he didnt really ko em.

Eh ? Any noteworthy "elite" boxer (Mundine's words not mine) would not continually be going the distance with C and D level fighters like Mundine has the last 2 years. :-(

You'd have a better chance finding a black man on the first life boat of the titanic than seeing Mundine take on Sturm, and Pavlik.
He doesn't have the profile, nor the desire to sacrafice his earnings to make the Pavlik fight happen.

You keep on waiting though champ. What was the big late 08 super fight in the US you were telling us all about 6 months ago?

Great to see your still living in a fantasy land, . . .man the **** that comes outta your posts are amazing. . . . isn't this the same guy that once said Choc will NEVER fight Shannon Taylor?? And that big fight in the US is just around the corner right?? lol

Just face it, the only reason Choc is still in the game is to try and earn one last payday in luring a rusty and out of touch Green out of retirement for his $5 mil. Then continue fighting corspes for the rest of his career.

its supposed to be but i think choc will pull out of it citing pay and conditions wernt good enough and will keep trying to get the green fight.but hopfully for his fans he does fight Sturm in germany and gives a good account of himself.

Taylor will give him a good run but will not have the sharpness that is needed. Mundine to do it quite easily if he makes the weight with something left in the tank. Look at what happened to DeLaHoya. When it came to the weigh in, he had nothing left and was a shot duck before the fight even bagan. Could be a good indicator of how Mundine handles this weight.

Wrong, Shannons prime was 10 year sago and he weighed 147 not 160, and even back near then he couldn't handle Moselys speed, this wil be another mismatch for Mundine no matter how the press etc try and beat this shitfest up

Three years ago, Anthony defeated Danny Green with a masterful display or speed power & resilience. He had his most vociferous critics' admiration & we all thought that the real Anthony Mundine had emerged & would back up all his claims of being the best in the division. Unfortunately it never happened. Anthony played the 'showman' hand.

His opportunity provided to local fighters, giving them a chance to get a decent quid when their careers had slowed is admirable. Anything in boxing is not all easy....perhaps his own frustration to keep himself aloft, matches our frustration at him not reaching his pinnacle. I have great admiration for him, he is worthy of a world title .

Mundine by knock out in round seven.

Still a dangerous fight for Mundine and Taylor camps....most difficult to gauge the emotion that each figher has, and which will draw them closer to dangerous moves.

Much kudos is to be obtained by both fighters in this contest.

Agree with everything you said in this post, except your prediction.

As I have said before Mundine aint knocking ANYONE out these days. He has completely lost all pop in his punches since moving down in weight. If you can't stop a D-grade blown up welterweight in your last fight, let alone even hurt him, you aint stopping anyone.

Mundine by UD, usual rubbish . . . low work rate, show-ponying, and landing the occasional jab to do just enough to win the rounds. I feel sorry for anyone that buys this.
