I'm not interested in the fight and defo wont be watchin on TV but a night at live boxing is still a night at the boxing to me and im up for that! if anyone can point any free tickets my way i'll talk them HAHAHA
Why would they hold the Mundine-Woods fight at the enormous Acer Arena which can hold about 17000/18000 for such an event. They would be lucky to get about 4000 paying on the night. What would it cost team Mundine to hire the venue ?
When Mundine fought Clavero, my then missus and I just happened to be walking past the SEC around that time, so I thought I'd pop around and see if I could sniff out some free tickets. Some guy who claimed to be best mates with Tony Mundine said he could get us free tickets. I thought he was full of it, but sure enough, he came back a few minutes later and handed us 2 free tickets. Acer Arena is a much bigger venue, so I'm sure it'd be easy enough to score some. You just have to weigh up whether or not you think it's worth paying a train fare out there and back.
Thanks for posting it Stiffy, but I stopped reading Craig Watts' thoughts at 'In an intriguing match-up...'
Did this press conference happen Ced? If it did, it got no airtime or real coverage? The weather on both Thursday and Friday turned out fine so I'm wondering what happened to it?
