its true Sox. Geale has no personality. Not saying Mundine does, but if Geale wants big fights he has to sell his show, not selling two heads for each seat in the backwaters of tassie. That IBF belt is no ready made ticket.

    this is true.

Mundine looked average in the few fights before, then was KOed cold by a 9-1 guy in December 2010. Since then he scrapped by in the rematch, then fought some club fighter at 160, then a robot with good blood lines to sell his name.

Mundine of 2011 (let alone 2012) is a much different story to 2006.

    , then yeh, I agree.

You don't need to be one of those to make it big you know.
Geale will make his best attempt at crawling his way to the top, and he'll be as humble then as he is today.

Disagree completely that Choc has an edge over Cotto in any area bar speed which Cotto's jab would nullify. Cotto KO's him in 9 after breaking him down. Choc would take the first round or two and that is it.

At the end of the day this fight will never happen, Cotto has made it clear that he is only interested in BIG fights, ie. Pac, Money or Chavez Jr as that would make hiom the only PR fighter to win titles in 4 divisions.

I can see Choc v Chavez Jr potentially happening with Choc being potentially robbed on the scorecards if it went down in a locale like Texas. At the same time I could see Chavez Jr who, for all his faults, has a great chin walking through Choc's punches and KO'ing him! It would be an excellent fight and would show that Choc is fair dinkum about making it on the world stage rather than him simply rematching Soon Botes at the Whitlam Centre.

No probs Whopper each to their own but can you tell me what edge mandy have over Cotto. It's interesting to see you wouldn't like him to fight Margacheato yet have him truly testing Cotto. Did you not see Cotto's performance against Marg in the rematch. He fought a very intelligent fight & shut the cheat down. So I'm a bit confused. Mandy has nothing to keep Cotto at bay........nothing. But I do fancy his chances against the over hyped, son of a legend, Chavez Jnr. That should be his target.

I could actually see margo taking that last fight had his eye not got ****ed early. he actually did good damage with limited success and 1 eye. it seemed similar to the first fight in the way the momentum was shifting late.

cotto vs mundine is a type of matchup i think physical attributes will have a lot to say. i dont think cotto can deal with the combination of size and speed that choc presents added with the fact that choc is a cagey outside fighter. Another bonus for choc is that cotto hasnt looked as good as he did b4 the beating he got from pac (i would of said margo but he did edge clottey) and at 154 cotto lacks the power he was known for at the lower weights. come fight night the size difference could be crazy, i heard in chocs fight with rigo his ring weight was something like 74kgs, obviously only an advantage if his body adapts.
I know technically cotto is probably the better boxer but choc is no slouch.

where as i see margo overwhelming choc at this stage of his career i cant imagine chocs legs keeping him out of trouble for 12. that is only if margo's eye holds up. margo is like t1000 the **** never dies.

    i could be completely wrong.

Yeah fair view there Whopper. A lot of people on the general forum thought the same way that Cotto was fading against Marg in the rematch but I honestly couldn't see it. Cotto fought a great gameplan n would have finished the 12 rds no probs. I think Marg had slipped a lot from the first fight n maybe/maybe not the padded gloves issue. I still think he loaded up for that 1st fight. Why I don't agree with mandy's chances are simple, he struggles with pressure applied & thats what Cotto would do. I think his mental side will fold before his legs do. Anyway good views.
