    From the Melbourne Herald Sun - Mon 11th Jan '10:

    They (Mundine & Medley) were originally supposed to fight for the vacant IBO light middleweight world title, though

    The Medley team and plenty of impartial boxing figures believed the change was made because Mundine was struggling to make the light middleweight limit, which he denied.

    ...it just never ends with this guy!

    ...would like to hear Phil's take on this.

    Don't dare mention Mundine's weight to Flamengo. He will have a go at you for daring to questions Mundine's ability to make 154 because Ray Kelly said he could.

    Just read some threads relative to this subject - on holidays and prefer to read the forum at work while getting paid to do it.

    Rightly or wrongly, Ray Kelly, and to a lesser extent Phil & the IBO, seem to be getting a hammering over the 154 issue.

    Whether Mundine could, couldn't etc, makes no difference - he ducked Geale and he didn't keep to his contract to fight Medley at 154 - Mundine has as much credibility as he has heart.

    Cant disagree with you at all CHB. Whatever excuses being made are not washing well with industry officials or fans alike. There's a time to quit the charades in all cases, and flogging the guts out of those not directly involved in the decisions made does make more than just F75 look a **** wit.

    * Mundine ducks Geale - how else can it be interpreted?
    * Fights another undersized opponent - again on his weight terms.
    * Wins no title and no friends in the process.
