Mundine/Boxa Promotions

    So the talk is Mundine vs Trout in the USA on some HBO show.

    Wont happen.

    last night Mundine paid his opponent to come here, hired the venue, put on a show.

    This has been the case for 46 of Mundine's 48 fights, and has been the case for 10 years since the last time he fought on another promotors event (Ottke in Germany, Pompay in Canada before that on Lucas promotion)

    They will not give up control. It has been how they play the game. If Mundine-Trout happens its in Australia on a Boxa card.

    I agree as if Mundine will fight Trout in America on HBO. Why would HBO want to show this fight. Mundine has become a complete joke in boxing and absolutely no one other than hardcore boxing fans have ever heard of Austin Trout. Won't happen, no way.

    HBO want an american champion to build up with an opponent that makes a good story, trout has had the stupidity to trash talk the king of trash talking, choc will cane this MF on HBO, it will be another clinic from "the man".

    I think that guy has just read about boxing , he actually rates the WBF belt too :rofl:rofl:rofl. It's painfully obvious he's never touched a glove in his life.

    look guys mundine i think we all agree wont fight in usa it will be in aus.trout cant make the type of cash mundine can. my pick mundine wins trout eats jabs,straight rights & odd uppercut all night in a good fight. cheers guys

    When its a Boxa/Mundine promotion Mundine is basically the boss of the show. It would be quite different if he fought on another promoters card. No choice of dressing room, who does what etc. Just very different.

    Again,whys it matter?
    Everyone has the same negative comments to make about green and mundines promotions,do u think they give 2 shits that they are not fighting on espn,hbo,etc etc?they dont give a fuk and they shouldn't,they put on there aussie cards and own promotions and make millions every single fight card they make,no matter who they fight! thats what you people dont realise,money is a massive aspect in boxing,so if your guarnteed millions to fight in some crummy entertainment centre,or $50,00-$200,000 to fight in hbo primetime etc,what are you going to do? Good for them,make your oney and get out the game,why the **** does it matter where they fight or under what card?
