Watched that short clip of the Mundine fight and having read ash's hyperbolic posts about Mundine turning back the clock 2 years, I have to ask the question - why was Mundine so much more confident in attacking Tolliver in this fight compared to his safety-first approach in his fights these past 2 years?

I don't know....Tolliver looked in good shape...no fat and same weight as choc...I dont think I was exaggerating in my statement :bart

Choc did look much better than his last 3 fights...Tolliver looked better than a 280 ranked fighter as well

Try watching the whole fight mate :good

Maybe it has something to do with Tolliver's lack of power which was no doubt a deciding factor when they chose him as an opponent.

Could well be... however, I choose not to be skeptical at this point in time

Tolliver had 15 stoppages from 23 wins.....not too bad :blood

I think your giving too much credit to the matchmakers

If not now, you never will :yep

According to Mundine going in to this fight he had a dodgy hip, limited vision, etc.

Coming out of it suddenly he's decided to have a go because he knows his time is running out.

Whatever happened to his dodgy hip and bung eye - were they magically healed in the ring against Tolliver?

There's none so dumb as a nuthugger
