    Want to read and learn something relevent about Aboriginal culture both urban and remote, try the "Report of the Northern Territory Board of Inquiry into the Protection of Aboriginal Children from Sexual Abuse".....this should be compulsory for everyone. If you do not understand how bad things have gotten they will never change.....changed by either the aboriginal communities from within or by virtue of governent intervention.

    im not sure what angle your coming at with this one, do you support or you dont support what occured in this policy? you do realise this is where they took away the anti discrimiation rights and called in the army? have you seen them do this for child abuse thats occured to white people?

    Stero type the entire race because of child abuse :nono

    Read the report. Draw your own conclusions. It was a disturbing situation and until you have read it you will not understand the depths of daily despair encountered by many children across many communities.

    Try not to confuse terms such as "stero type" with words like "facts"....

    I know all about it m8, it degraded an entire race. Why dont they have a policy for the churches that had priests fiddle with little boys? or signs up in hot spots around nightclubs in sydney saying no alchol permitted? etc.

    If you look into it you will know what they did was wrong, sure the intentions were there but the method behind this madness was so farkn wrong its not funny, it stero typed them all, basicly saying they were all drunks who molster their kids. Isolated incidents, no one said it didnt happen , it did happen but to do what they did was overboard in dealing with it, if it had occured to white people they would all be up in arms but because it happen to aborignals no one gave two fcks.

    Theres a doco on it you should watch and it will change your view of this policy if you supported it.

    you dont need to compare the different situations to somehow seperate the different degrees of genocide, just because you list one extreme doesnt take away from what occured in Australia, it can & has been argued that what occured was infact a form of genocide

    Well maybe I do need to brush up on my history yet keep this in mind. There are no Jews in Poland whilst there are still Aboriginals in Australia. Thats all man.


    Well Im afraid it does. Ive heard whats happening in the Gaza strip referred to as a Holocaust. Doesnt make it so does it.

    I dont want to get into a debate on whether or not a "Holocaust" happened to the Blackfellas but to say there was is ignorance on what the actual holocaust is.

    A report that was done by the howard goverment and nothing more than a land grab and a means to an end to strip them of their rights.. i dont support the report or policys it produced, child abuse is wrong but there is sure as sht better ways in dealing with it than what these baffoons did m8..

When you make a mistake do you just say fark it, it was in the past im not going to make amends? hope you dont teach your children these ways. live and learn by ones mistakes and do what is right to correct the wrongs.
