Go easy on TC mate. It's not his fault mother nature short changed him of the average dosage of brain ticker. To her credit, she did try and make ammends by doubling up on him when it came time for his tits to expand. :yep

Why when there are far more interesting & relevant things to study. Just putting it bluntly. Some schools already have a week dedicated to study Aboriginal culture.

Alot of school kids arent interested in History anyway. Not unless you want to instill guilt.

And I agree with globeman and as much as this pains me you. No way should Aboriginal history be made compulsory at school. Pointless as a broken pencil.

I think you will find there is a **** load of interesting things about aboriginal history that have **** all to do with guilt ie Tribal warfare and tribal boundaries, Art and how it differs in areas, hunting techniques, the 100s of different tribes and their customs and law, languages , Music and dreamtime songs that teach aboriginal history and stories, tools for hunting / warfare / music etc traditional medicine and bush tucker, indigenous animals and how we interacted with them, using the environment to assist longevity (no waste policy) recycling. Hell, some of these things might even help us today. After all that you can then look at modern aboriginal history than contains the interaction with white man . You can also look at aborginal sporting greats Goolagong,Rose, Freeman and artists Namajirra etc .You could dedicate a small part to civil rights and yes sometimes the truth hurts but you dont base the whole thing on negativity.....just saying.
