Personality aside, the guy is pretty talented. I'd love to see him fight Pavlik...or WInky, for that matter.
Mundane won't go anywhere near class fighters, he did that against one before, and injured one at that. Got convincingly beaten and learnt a lesson. He won't rematch Kessler, so he aint going near anyone else "top class".
I think he would if the opportunity presented itself but as it stands he really isnt an attractive opponant for anyone. I think he could upset Pavlik, maybe not win but he would make him look bad.
The man Mundine, smart thing to do, I wander how long time he can hide in MW. before he have to step it up. We all know he wants to fight the best :rofl :rofl :rofl
i hope he gets down 2 business...or is he going 2 win some "sub/interim/" title n defend it till he gets a hard mandatory then run back 2 super-middle calling nader hamden out again...
I see Mundine as a high risk low reward type fighter who will never be picked by the top guys as an opponent the only way he'll get thosefights are mandatories.
...yeah...right...that's why he's running away from 168, having fought the cream of the Argentine cabby crew for a whole year... ...why didn't he move to 160 earlier? :huh ...he talks a lot of **** about being ducked by the best and when he has to finally deliver, he runs away from them. **** him! He is a joke and completely irrelevant.
The guy not that big, he should go down to 160 He beats the likes of Strum, but pavlik is a different kettle of fish, he would make it pretty easy
So he calls out Calzaghe and Kessler, says they are ducking him and then, when he actually has to step up to the plate and fight Kessler, he realises he's been too small all along! Give me a break! I gave him the benefit of the doubt for a very long time, because my ESB buddy teke was adamant he'd fight Kessler if he had the chance. Should have listened to my other ESB Aussie buddies, who were saying Choc was all mouth. I don't want to hear any excuses! This guy's a joke!
Hey steady on, i agree with you if this happens, but nothing is concrete yet. Mundine Kessler 2 is still possible. It's very easy with Mundine to presume the worst, but im giving him (after the soliman fight) one more chance to step up to the plate. If the Kessler possibilty faulters, then Im right there with you.
I stopped giving him chances after Nievas. It's a complete joke seriously. I'm not even bitter about it, I'm too busy enjoying the nonesense that comes out of his mouth and how he 'backs it up' against quality fighters from south america :rofl
the guy is boxer mate and he speaks a hell of alot ****, it is about makeing money, he is no idiot and knows how the sport works, I have talked the guy a few time about boxing and he knows how it all works and you should also know being a hardcore boxing fan.
I know where your coming from and Im probably a sucker for thinking otherwise, but Im still holding that glimmer off hope that, through all the crap he goes on with, he's at the crossroads, planned or otherwise, where he cannot hide behind injuries, inexperience and most of all fighters supposedly ducking him. He's actions are now on a greater public display, not just for the inside Aus boxing gurus. If he proves me wrong after Soliman, it's all over though....
