Former WBA super middleweight champion Anthony Mundine (35-3, 23 KOs) will clash with IBO middleweight champion Daniel Geale (20-0, 12 KOs) on May 27. Mundine has been unimpressive in recent middleweight bouts and there are many predicting Geale can upset the former world champion. Australias No.1 promoter Bill Treacy, who manages Geale, said Daniel has looked great in recent sparring sessions against IBO super middleweight champion Sakio Bika and is now ready for Mundine. His trainer Graham Shaw has done a top job in having Daniel performing at his best. Next week Geale will defend his IBO crown against Canadian Ian MacKillop, who stopped Mundines last opponent Shannan Taylor. Mundines only losses have been to Sven Ottke, Mikkel Kessler and Many Siaca in world title bouts. Geale is underfeated.
