you can Bank you life savings that Anthony Mundine & Danny Green watched Daniel Geale's fight ..... And i can bet my life savings they were going for Sylvester as they dont wont their PPV cash cow with main event going away any time soon, BUT ! Geale WON!!!! YEW !!! ... and has he has some big paydays to look forward to... main event will be knocking at his door....as he will draw some big names as will be seen as an "EASY BEAT" for the title .....

either way looks like mundine's pay days are done- he's are shot fighter- he was 5 ys ago ago....

green might be able to milk 1 or 2 more PPV... "but Realisticaly if u think about it Geale has now lifted the bar"-for those 2 bums retire or step up

theres no way danny would have been barracking for sylvester mate he supports every aussie fighter in their bouts. hopefully geale gets all the credit he deserves and more, along with the big paydays , hes a true ambassador of the sweet science, but i dont think its going to take away from any of greens fanbase, as they are completely different fighters, green is based on power and excitement, whereas geale is a pure boxer who oozes technical prowess, and it may even enhance mundines interest base, as there is potential for a rematch. so in summary, your points arent validated and have no substance whatsoever.

Yeah Aussie I tend to agree with Dawsosj on this one...the great win by Geale will bring more fans to boxing IMO

I see Mundiine v Geale II coming off now Geale has the belt....it works for both teams...Geale gets his big payday and Mundine get another crack at the title at home.

SO WTF Happen to all DannyBoys "Power & Excitment" in fighting a bloke who hadnt fought in 18 months in BJ Flores? That sht was one of the most borring fights ive watched.

Greens fan base is based on Redneck bogan fckwits who dont have a clue what a Real World Title or Champion is. Danny Green could NEVER win a legit CW world title and what he is doing is so he dont have to diet. The **** doesnt even want to do the hard yards most boxers do in making weight but he still wants his pay cheque and when he fcks over his fans by fighting a sick fighter in Paul Briggs he doesnt even refund them or give them a reduced price for his next fight. But these are Green fans, these guys come back for more because they are as thick and as stupid as they come.

If he moves upto Heavyweight and Brings out Big Daddy G Foreman to fight i bet the Green fans would lap it up, its the only reason this crap sells on Mainvent because they are the idiots who buy it. If no one buys his shows then he will flop out, same as Mundine or they have to step up and fight legit contenders, Geale has lifted the bar a tone and there is no way Mundine and Green can match it. If either one of them tried to get an IBF title in their current divisions they would be knocked out COLD.

I actually think the win by Geale is a positive for both Green and Mundine.

Mundine can get a big money rematch with Geale and Geale's win gives boxing more exposure and creditability probably even hyping up Green's Tarver fight.

Choc would have been cheering loudly for a Geale victory and khoder would have been sitting with $BW in South Africa doing the same a victory now allows choc to have a re match and a fight for a legit worlf title, I wonder in geale will give him the fight though after choc refused the re match, and greeny will have more talk abou his world title fight now with a vast majority thinking the IBF and IBO are both on the same level. All good for aussie boxing

money talks cedrich and maybe Geale-Mundine II will happen but me personally i would rather DG fight OS fighters maybe try to unify by fighting one of the other
titleholders.as far as Mundine and Green go i think their
    fanbase will stay as is.

Mundine would need to get ranked by the IBF as a MW for starters, and isn't Mundine way out of favour with the IBF here.

Yes I'm sure Green was barracking for a german to beat an aussie fighter that Danny has a heap of respect for:huh
And as for choc he would be wrapt that Geale won so he can position himself to get a shot at the ibf title against a guy he's already beaten.
So your comment that chocs pay days are over because Geale won doesn't make sense at all:patsch
Geale's win will prove a boost for boxing in Australia and will benifet everybody in the game.
If anything Geale's win will increase the exposure of future cards and result in more main stream media.

a lot of people actually enjoyed that fight as it showed danny has versatility and can box, but thats not what people expect from him. And its common knowledge than green is one of the hardest trainers in boxing, he always comes in shape and ready to fight, you just continue to try drag his name through the mud, i was stating facts to aussie opinion as to why his arguments were wrong, your spewing slander in order to back up your sick obsession with green.

You backed Flores with your own money fully aware he had hadn't fought for a while.

It wasn't enough to deter you backing him - why whine about it now? :patsch.

Any positive exposure for Aussie boxing is good for everyone. None of them get huge PPV numbers anyway, so it all helps. I'd say there would be no more than half a dozen fights in the past 10 yrs that really sold in decent numbers. We are offered some farcical events at ridiculous prices.
Geale would be mad to have anything to do with Mundine at the moment, unless he can screw millions out of him, which I reckon is virtually impossible.
One thing I find sad/amusing is the Foxsports guys doing the headlines talking about the Geale fight as if they knew fight was on before the lines came over the teleprompter.
