Now, we all know Mundine isn't fighting anybody, but this is just a straight H2H comparison at 168. Who do you think beats more of the top 10 at 168, Jermain Taylor or Anthony Mundine? If they were matched in a tournament.
Mundine has superior speed, timing, and defense. If they were placed in a 168 pound torunament, I envision Mundine beating everybody with the exception of Calzaghe and Kessler. Taylor loses to Calzaghe, Kessler, Froch, Bute, and several others.
Mundine is quicker and has equal power to JT. H2H it depends on where the fight is at. But Mundine has the edge. Btw: Your posts has become more aggresive. You've been almost pissed on some fighters. Bute doesnt deserve it - I agree on your judgement of him - but the dude is a nice guy and a top 5 smw.
Mundine also has a very slick D generally and Taylor has horrible accuracy, nothing like Kessler and Kessler had issue's landing clean on Mundine due to his speed and slickness. H2H, Mundine beats everybody but Kessler at SMW if he fights to the level he should and if some of the damn fights are even made, which this is getting ridiculous. Taylor loses to a lot of SMW's. Somebody here ridiculously pissed on my favourite fighter for no reason and not only that, but became biased in cement against him, I'm just returning the favour.:yep
The Kessler situation is beyond ridiculous - it ****in' bizarre. Hes a potential top5-8 p4p and he has the worst management in boxing. disgrace is the word. Mundine is that good. I agree:good
No, no, this goes back a long ways and has to do with switching sides due to a false story, which I will PM you in a minute and you can assess for youself. The Calzaghe Mafia doesn't respect bandwagon jumpers, but that's okay, until the bandwagon jumper in question starts flaming the Supernatural one in subtle ways and supporting Jermain Taylor, then only to say Hopkins beats the Supernatural One prime to prime when just 2 months ago, such statements were considered nonsense by this ex-member in question. THEN of course, dropping the Supernatural One down in a P4P ranking system that is based on 'how good the fighter in the weight class', having Supernatural, amazing, effortlessly talented Joe Calzaghe under someone like Pac in a weight class best comparison and saying that even if he OBLITERATES Hopkins in 2 rounds, he only reaches 3 while pimping Jermain Taylor and Joy Boy. So, the end result is, Lucian Bute is now with his buddy Jermain Taylor and we're going to have a good time with this stupid forum nonsense as usual.:yep :good
Bute is far better than Mundine, time will tell. I think a big f*&?% troll deserves some trolling too.
It was his 11th pro fight don't forget. He is a vastly improved boxer since then, much more seasoned. Mundine beats any SMW bar Calzaghe, as someone said time will tell.
I wouldn't be too hard on Kessler's management, although I do think Palle is a knob, but definitely not for his negotiation ways. I think Mundine does better than Taylor against the top guns at 168. I think Mundine would beat Pavlik if they were to fight, Pavlik's style is made for Mundine, and I believe he'd have a harder time against Taylor than Pavlik. Anyway, Mundine needs to step it. Theres talk of a 3rd Soliman fight (there was a rematch clause) and another Green fight. I think it's fair to say that the best domestic fight that everyone would want to see him in against would be against Bika.
I think this is close either way. H2H this is a good fight, I think both Mundine and Taylor should be calling for it. Taylor is being nunderestimated by Amsterdam. Hopkins was the best middleweight in the world and one of the best p4p, even if you think Jt was lucky for the nod (which i dont) it was still mighty close. Jt does have some class about him. Mundine is over protected and he seems to beleive he is something he is not, but he has improved since his KO loss to Ottke. how beatable he is all depends on oposition though. Mundine has no interest in fighting the best, while I think Taylor is!
