http://www.fijitimes.com/story.aspx?id=128558 FIGHTING World International Boxing Organisation middleweight champion Anthony Mundine is too early for Zulfikar Joy Ali, says Fiji Boxing Commission director Isimeli Cerelala. Cerelala said his personal view was that Ali needed more fights against ranked overseas opponents before facing 'The Man'. "We need not to rush things because Joy needs to have some more build-up fights before facing Mundine," he said. Former Fiji boxing light heavyweight and heavyweight champion and strength and conditioning trainer Sunia Cama said the fight would be mismatch. "Mundine has been fighting world ranked fighters and Joy needs some build-up fights against overseas ranked first,"he said. Commission board member Tim Nobringa echoed the sentiment. But Joy, who is known as the The Jet pointed out he was ready for Mundine in December. "If he wins it'll be on points. I'll prove to all that it's no mismatch. I'll knock him out," he confidently said. Joy, 31, has had 44 fights, winning 29 (24 by kayo), eight losses and six drawn. Most of his fights have been against locals. Mundine, 34, has had 39 fights for 36 wins and three losses. Twenty of his vicctiory have been kno couts. Toe to Toe boxing promoter, Abdul Feroz said he was awaiting the Fiji Boxing Commission's decision on sanctioning the fight. "I prefer not to comment on these issue ... I'll leave it with the commission," he said. Cerelala said the commission would meet "sometimes this week" to discuss the next promotion. "Two promoters have applied to stage their program in October. "They are Golden Gloves and the Toe to Toe Promotion," he said.
