I couldn't find the Mundine-Kessler thread so I started this one.

With Miranda-Kessler cancelled what are the current chances of this one happening?

(I really want to see it and I think Teke pushed for it too. So at least we are two.;) Mundine can do better than the first time around.:good )

Well, if teke asks Gemma "Choc" Atkinson to agree to fight Kessler, I'm sure he will...:yep

Definetely a great chance of these two fighting each other again.

Mikkel Kessler rejects that fear made him cancel a fight between him and the Colombian Miranda in the 11th hour, as Miranda says.
"Of course I´m not afraid to face Miranda. But I want to become a world champion again, I wont become that facing Miranda but against Mundine. So it´s obvious, I´ll take that chance to get my belt back Mikkel Kessler says to Ekstra Bladet.
Mikkel Kessler has previously faced Mundine, and that fight had a Danish winner, but Kessler rejects that a new fight against the Australian will be a guaranteed win.
" Nope, that´s not how the piano plays. The first fight against him was maybe the toughest of my career, and it will be hard again, because Mundine has improved. He is also an awkward type, so the fight will not be easy.

Kessler is doing his best to make Choc gain the confidence required to sign on the dotted line...:yep

Its Chocs manager that they need to convince, he is the one that has been running the show all these years. He knows what another Kessler fight represents, he knows its a tough fight.

Choc would take the fight without hesitation, its not like he would do a no show for a world title fight *cough* Da... *cough* ...een

Well, who cares what Choc wanted and what his manager wanted; Choc has definitely fought tough competition in the early days, so he must have had guts. Important thing now is that we don't have to look forward to Soliman, but to Kessler!:happy

You seen any footage of Choc as a footballer Decebelle?

He was one of my favs when he was playing, I've been hunting around trying to get some vids to show but no luck yet.

If Kessler and Joe move on up you know what that means dont you :yep

Never saw Choc play with balls; and I don't regret it either, teke...:nono ...and no...I don't want to see any such video!:verysad :-( :verysad :-( :verysad I'm sure he was one of your faves, though!:yep :-( :yep :-( :yep

Kessler won't move up, except for a fight or two...Calzaghe will retire and Mundine...well...he's go down...to try his luck at MW...which leaves Bute...alone...at SMW!:think

I doubt Mundine could make MW mate. If he could, he should have went there long ago.

If Kessler moves up, then I'd have Bute at #1 at smw. Mundine's lack of quality opponents see's him drop to #2 imo.

Anyway, what is the situation with Kessler? I thought he's definitely moving up to fight Garay, and now I read somewhere that he might be fighting Mundine?!?!

Don't talk about Bute's good opposition yet. It looks like he is facing Haussler of all people in May!!!:patsch
