Mundine-Kessler II. How likely?

Who cares, he had like 10 fights, while Ottke had 10 championships fights by then. Plus Ottke had those damn loaded gloves. A certified cheater is Ottke.

On Mundine-Kessler well I dunno...Mundine definitely has the ability to whip Kessler all over the ring but I don't like where he's at right now, needs to step it up in his next fight. He's more complete fighter nowadays, and since the 1st Kessler fight he's won big fights against Green and Soliman, but has faded in his last couple bouts.

Kessler is a very good fighter, but is very mechanical and by and large quite overrated on these boards. Calzaghe completely befuddled him. I don't see how he can improve that much either, I mean he's going to continue being the same ol' Kessler and dominate most guys with his jab and straight right. A guy like Chad Dawson has much more potential IMO, has much more dimensions to him.

he was winning the fight technically ,if u dont count the two points he lost for an accidental headbut (which was an absolute joke),he would of been up on three cards if it wasnt for the two point loss.:shock:

Yeah, I've seen that...Boxrec used to have the scores at the time of stoppage on their site, but then they were removed and the comment "Mundine ahead on points before being knocked out by a right hand to the temple" was added later.

The page that you've linked is editable by members of the site, and I suspect some nuthugger has added that comment.

 

There is no doubt that Mundine was behind on points.....I saw the Judges scorecards.

There was some interest because Mundine entered Australia waving a sheaf of paper claiming that he was ahead on the scorecards.:roll:

I alaso find it somewhat amusing that Mundine's Scrotum suckers..while noting that points were taken off for the headbutt...conveniently overlook the fact that had Mundine regained his feet and seen out the round...it would have been a 10... 8 Round to Ottke....
