I hope the WBA enforces it before the end of the year. Choc won it in March last year and hasn't faced a mandatory yet, regardless of injuries he's fought 3, soon to be 4 times since then.

Let's say that WBA decides not to stop Mundine-Soliman. Then, since Kessler turned down Miranda, he might not be figting Mundine until probably fall, because the Olympics could potentially stand in the way. That spells a break from Nov. 2007 until fall 2008. In my mind that is ridiculously bad planning. Better to fight someone than not to fight at all.

I want this fight to happen, but it's hard to believe that the WBA are only now going to force Mundine to fight Kessler within 2, 3 months, without warning him earlier on to face his mandatory.

I'd like it to happen like that, but I think they'll give him a time frame of at least 6 months for this one, and Kessler should probably be looking for a tune up fight in the meantime.

if the Soliman Vs Mundine fight goes ahead, it wont be for the WBA Super Middleweight title. Mundine is in America now training with Roy Jones Snr. word around town is that Kessler is next.

So does this mean if I start saying great things about your missus it'll put you off her too? :-(

I start with the compliments once you post me her mobile number.

It's non thinking fools like yourself that base their opinions of Choc on Daily Telegraph exclusives, backpage scoops by the same people that were severly embarassed after saying that Mundine would be lucky to win a professional fight.

Hang on a minute...Stiflers Mum??? Does that mean you're a chick or a transvestite?

Barge is probably talking out of his arse, but I wouldn't be surprised if the rematch was to happen as late as November as I doubt the WBA would only just now give Mundine only 3 months to face his mandatory.

I know he hasn't faced his mandatory yet, and he won the title over 12 months ago. Last time he had to face his mandatory within 9 months, but the situation is different this time around, though only slightly.

Calzaghe is still officially the WBA champ, whereas after Mundine fought Nishizawa, Ottke retired, thus making Mundine the full WBA champ. Is there a new 12, or 18 month time frame that gets added once Calzaghe beat Kessler, or does the time frame continue on from when Mundine won the 2nd tier title in March 07?!
