Whatever it takes. Did you read the story this week about Australian heavyweight champ Bob Mirovic? If you didn't it was basically about how he has to live with friends because he is broke. The guy is 44 years old and broke. The saddest thing is that he says he wants to keep going because he believes that a world title shot is just around the corner.... Bobby's a great guy, everyone loves Bob. Lets just hope all his friends turn up to his charity night.
Close your weeping vagina ****. Stop trying to put my great name as a reason why you hate one of Australias biggest mouths :nono
The chances of this fight happening is as slim as Victoria Beckham. It seems Palle beleives Mundine will beat the crap out of Soliman one more time and then move up in weight. Can we have some good news today please.
Mundine is only a mid sized SMW.....guys like Kess, bute and Joe are better at LHW. If Mundine is going to move he should move down. His last fight he got to 73kg's without diet. Mundine should smash Sam then run away down to MW.....If he fights Kess it will be the same as the first fight or maybe even a KO to Kess. I would love to see Mundine VS Kess and Mundine win....however he lacks the work rate to beat Kess and I dont think he has the power to stop him.
Nothing more than propaganda spread by a bunch of chronic manipulators. Most of the reports coming through are rumors or speculation. Some of the stuff coming through is just **** getting spread by the mentally insane suffering delusions. These are the facts to date. . Mundine is scheduled to fight Sam Soliman 28th May. To date the WBA has not called on Mundine to defer or cancel the fight and are unlikely to do so considering that it's less than 8 weeks away. . Kessler/ Palle had not approached Mundine in any way, shape or form before contacting the WBA in a bid to have Kessler promoted to mandatory challenger to Mundine's regular title. In fact the last time either camp had contact was before the Kessler v Calzaghe fight was confirmed, Khoder Nasser expressing Mundine's intrest in a rematch with Kessler to Palle, which they turned down with good reason (Calzaghe an obvious priority in work.) . Mundine will not be going up to light heavyweight after the Soliman fight. He was however "weighing up his options" regarding a drop down to middleweight but this would only be done if he could secure a title fight. The last point could have alot to do with Kessler's desperation in gaining a fight with Mundine sooner rather than later. Should Mundine be offered a big fight in the states towards the end of the year (a real possibility considering his relationship with Roy Jones Jr) he would not hesitate to relinquish his title and take the opportunity instead of fighting Kessler who no longer has anything to offer except credibility. Of course we have now moved on to personal opinion so don't quote that as fact. Simply put I doubt there's many fighters out there today that would turn down a big title fight (eg: Pavlik) and big cash just to earn credibility and keep their WBA regular title. To go one step futher, Mundine has always planned to take that route (or a similar one that included a high profile opponent in the US) after fighting Soliman which is why Kessler's getting concerned. Think about it, if Mundine drops to middleweight and Joe retires, what does Kessler do, Fight Miranda? As for all the speculation, ignore it. No one will be waiting to long before an offical announcement is made.
