Despite it being very hard logistically, would this fight not make sense?

Okay Rose is not ranked in top 15 by WBA but he is flirting around 10-15 with other organisations and has a scheduled fight this weekend. Both fighters will be in shape and this would only need to be pushed back a couple of weeks.
IMO Mundine is one of the weaker champions at Light Middleweight and Brian would be silly not to push for this. Mundine may take this fight as it would seem 'an easy defence'
For Eddie this would be the test to give Rose to see where his level actually is. I am not saying he would win but even a good showing would put his name out there and make him appealing to those with a better name than Javier Maciel.

    Thoughts?

Mundine isn't the WBA Champion, Floyd is HA. The Marciel fight is better as if he wins, by right he should get a shot at the WBO title. Javier Maciel stops Rose on Saturday anyway, hope i get good odds.

That would be such an epically **** move to pull on Maciel, especially considering he is going to knock Rose out and earn himself mandatory status in the process.
