mundine next fight.

What makes the whole thing worse is the fact the bloke had a world title fight after only 11 fights.Since then i have only seen Mundine once take a dangerous fight(Kessler).The rest have been low risk..We all knew he was too good for Green and then the rest were all cans..

There comes a time when a fighter should simply step it up.
In Mundines case, he actually took some big risks early in his career, but has now taken a more easy route.

It's a shame. While I don't think he could have reigned ruler of a division, he could have at least exposed guys like Froch, possibly beaten Bute, and ended Beyer, Lacy ect. But he has his own unwillingness to blame for not doing any of it.

 

Mundine was always just about the Money. He was unwilling to take a massive paycut and thats why he opted to fighting those cheap Cab Drivers.

Mundine needs to learn humility and had he done so after the 2nd Soliman fight he would have fought a top level contender by now. He should not be going on about how the big names "priced themselves out of fights" as he so elegantly put it yesterday....

 

Well if the WBA are as good as their word, Mundine will be out of the middleweight ratings........

 

Mundine v Taylor is still a big chance of happeing IMO.
IM hopeing Mundine gets the sturm fight, dont want to see him fighting for a regular title again.

 

As far as i was aware, the WBA have scrapped the "super champ, regular champ" system. i think they only sanction one champion now (or plan to) as people were complaining about it.

Can someone confirm this?

 

They said they were going to scrap it, but the super champion regular system is still happening.
Look at super flyweight & they have 3 holders there.
Look at welterweight upgraded Antonio Margarito to Super Champ without even at least unifying.
Their definitely thinking why the hell not, its double the sanctioning fees.:deal

Mundine was set to go to the US to fight Manfredo, but Manfredo decided to take A LOT LESS money to fight Bika, so it fell through. Silly Manfredo, loses money and his career with that decision.
