Mundine offers Green $5million....

to come out of retirement.

I was pissed off at Green for even considering a comeback.....but who could blame the guy for that kind of money?

Seriously...... How many of us would say "NO?"

THREE months ago Danny Green broke down in tears as he made the shock announcement he'd retire from boxing.
He wanted to walk away while on top.
He did not want to hop in the ring one too many times. He wanted to spend more time with his blonde wife Nina and two children, Chloe and Archie.
Yesterday, the 35-year-old former world champion fronted the press and hinted he could make a comeback against Anthony Mundine.
He could not wipe the smile off his face. Green has been offered around $5million to go toe-to-toe with Mundine, the boxer who beat him in 2006.
Should "The Green Machine'' accept a rematch, he said it would be "the biggest fight in Australian boxing history''.
Some people have questioned whether Green should return.
Boxing legend Johnny Lewis, who was in triple world champion Jeff Fenech's corner last night, hoped Green stuck to his guns and steered clear of Mundine.
Green, however, said he was not fazed by what people would think of his possible backflip. "Sure people will have their opinions,'' he told The Daily Telegraph.
Green said he will now go on a surfing holiday with his family before making a decision. "It's almost a ridiculous offer at the moment,'' Green said of the contract sent to him

The only thing argueable is the "PRICE":deal

 

I am guessing Mundine knows within himself that he is on the decline.....and rather than take on the Big Guns.....He wants to go for the easy money.:yep

Rather makes a mockery of him relinquishing his Title and stepping down a division to avoid Kessler....and now he will step up 2 weight Divisions to fight Green....atsch

 

YEP.....You are right....Since he squibbed on another "schooling" by Kessler .....he might as well try to school a retired fighter....:deal
