    agreed.

but my point was that he has in fact been in the ring with prime quality opposition.... whilst most here dont seem to believe it. that was all i was pointing out.

Phil's not here Josey:yep. By memory Joe fought Manfredo to
make himself known to American audiences who missed the
Lacy drubbing chasing Jermaine Taylor fight for big $$$ as I
read on his forum his ex Lacyed him in their divorce.
Shame if he held onto the IBF belt he would of had all 4 major belts and the Ring belt. Still a remarkable career though. Hopkins and now Tarver are trying to tempt him out of retirement.

The Man knows his limitations. He opted out of fighting well credentialed Northern Hemisphere boxers years ago.
He is attempting to do now what should have happened 5 or more years ago but he didn't have the ticker to back himself.
Go to Aus Boxing's Q&A on the first page and he's still rabbiting on about unifying titles and best P4P.
At 36yrs of age and fading fast he's getting more desperate for attention. But there's only one Mundine who will ever have the Legacy and that's Tony.
Choc may beat Alvarez who is certainly nothing special but he's a tough awkward southpaw who may spring an upset. It's 50-50 in my book.

If he wins would Mundine chance his arm and go on to fight Trout in the US ?
Going on past history it's highly unlikely.

Expect plenty of smoke and mirrors from the Boxa Circus.

Rigoberto beats Him and Finishes his career,he has dodged a Bullet by ducking Golovkin and now Trout and I reckon he has picked a pretty lively one who can punch in this bloke.!!!!

You must be talking about yourself you dumb ****.

Get your head out of your arse for just a second and tell me....

Which part of "MUNDINE RELINQUISHED A WORLD TITLE COS HE WAS TOO GUTLESS TO FACE KESSLER (his mandatory)" Don't you understand?

Mundine has turned the act of running from and ducking opponents into an art form.

Seriously Gav..... You are one stupid ****.

Yes Ty's antics annoy me too. And ive said this online too.

In the end I know his name is Ty. I know what he looks like. You,... well you'll just be Goofy... must flatter you....

This looks like a reasonable matchup to decide who gets the number one ranking and a possible crack at Austin Trout. But it's hard to believe the bout is being talked about as being for some kind of title.

sure Mundine was selective. But thats his choice, its his money and name he has to protect. You guys carry one like its somekind of school yard spat. Like Green as well, TCBoxa carries on that he should have fought Huck and Cunningham, but he did not because it did not really makwe sence from a self-promoted fighters perspective. He could fight Siaca, Floros then Tarver and make more money. Dont hate the player hate the game.

Mundine should of fought better opposition outside of big fights though.

And Oz no fighter is scared of anyone. They all take on all comers if the fights can be worked out mate.

Goofy's better than Hmmm...and am I to assume you look like the top half of a skeleton super-imposed over a picture of Mundine weighing in?

Does knowing Charlie Zelenoff's name and what he looks like give his nonsensical ramblings any greater legitimacy than that of an anonymous person who is sane, reasonable and makes logical arguments?

Cheers Josey, I knew one of the other titles ended in 'BO' and remembered there being some sort of drama over the IBF title :good

He's apparently taken up acting now. Seems happy to be retired. Who knows the itch to fight may come back.

didn't know he took FW to court for 2 million pounds that he was owed for the Hopkins fight.Thats a nice little windfall.
