Yep :nod Interesting also to note that as soon as Mundine landed back in Sydney from Copenhagen after watching Kessler stop Siaca, he immediately challenged Green, despite Green having been challenging him for the better part of 4 years :yep Green had also just had his fight with Sullivan, in which he was badly dehydrated. One could suggest that Mundine thought of Green as damaged goods after burning himself out vs Sullivan, or perhaps even suspected it was becoming a struggle for Green to make SMW :hey
Anyone who considers Mundine a true world champion with his wins over Echols, Soliman and Geale is demonstrating very limited knowledge of the sport. Mundine has never defeated a genuine, and current, world champion.
Equally would like to hear 'Yesterday's Man' Mundine's explanation. Why is he so scared of being a part of a genuine contest?
Mundine has deteriorated, clearly. He knows this himself since he went life and death and nicked past geale, an unproven fighter, by the smallest of margins. Mundine will not take ANY risks whatsoever for the last 2 yrs or so of his career. Not even fighting guys like Geale or Green again.
Seems to be the pattern Francis. Have never seen anyone jump divisions so often to duck opponents, and this latest 'effort', Medley instead of Geale is as good an example as any. This content is protected ....Yesterday's Man.
Mundine V Medley @ 154 was as much at the behest of Grange as it was Team Mundine. In fact we had even more contact from them. Geale has not been forgotten and something is in the pipeline for him now
Well this time I'm under no orders to stay schtum, I'm guessing Geale will be fighting a local opponent for the mw title.
