Mundine talks on his career, Trout and Golovkin

You see where I'm coming from though, Mundine is the more talented fighter of Geale and himself, and he could have done alot better for himself post 06 if he (or in regards to this Interview, his management) took better opposition on, we'd be having a completely different conversation.

 

I seriously think at this point Daniel is being touted as a fighter regarded higher than his achivements warrant mate,and YES i would be saying the same if Mc and Murray had won, i will probably get shot with **** for saying this but i place all three , Geale , Murray & Barker at top class European level on the verge of World class level . fire at will :yep , Ps hope all is well with yourself also mate . :good

 

Come on man...Mundine never wanted to fight the big boys...his team got him Kessler and he fought like a rabbit caught in the headlights - that was enough of the real thing for him.

It's easy for him to imply it was all Nasser's fault now that they've gone their separate ways.

 

I can most definatley see where you are coming from Oz and i have said the same for many years and i'm about to get the question i have been asking for the same amount of years answered , that is " Will the level of fighters Mundine been fighting against in recent years seriously damage his ability to compete when he steps up in class again " ? one things for sure is IF Mundine does beat Geale he will put to bed the " Never was a real World Champ " tag to bed .

 

Agree completely. These morons now believe Mundine is a warrior like Holyfield and was prepared to take on all comers if it wasn't for Nasser holding him back.

I agree.

Im not having a dig at Geale but beating Sturm anywhere really isnt that big of a deal. I never rated him earlier in his career (see teke posts 05 onwards:yep) and sure as **** dont think much of him now but that's just my opinion.

Geale should be able to beat Mundine comfortably in the rematch but Choc still has enough Residual talent to cause problems.

Fair call mate. Although i think all three mentioned would put it to Peter Quillin after juding him on last weekends proformance. Not many solid middleweights comming from the USA these days. I would have Sergio and GGG at the top of the list when it comes to the hardest fighters in the division. Chavez would be tough but depending on his state of mind and what PED's are running though him at the time :yep
