Seriously Ash can you please explain why you seem to show stronger and stronger support for Anthony Mundine the boxer. I don't understand it. The guy doesn't deserve your support.

Ash, After he got beaten by Ottke he was given the benefit of the doubt and despite losing to Kessler after making a decent fist of it the writing was on the wall for him as a 168lb'r imo ,it was THEN as i suggested at the time he should have tried his luck south a division but he remained around the S/Middle weight limit fighting blokes who if we are being honest here were beaten ( skill wise ) before they had even entered the ring with him, Good for him regarding the money making aspect of his career but poor form regarding his legacy,

Now when he eventually moved down in weight ( to avoid facing Kessler again ) he realised that choice of fighting Sub standard opponents had a detrimental effect on him ie he couldn't cut it with the top ten middles in the world hence his move even futher south to avoid the likes of Golovkin ( who in effect isn't a proven world class fighter either ) ash he will sadly be remembered as a what could have been in the wider world of Boxing.

Now when he first appeared i wanted him to do well and wished him all the luck in his career but post kessler ducking he really has let down his fans with only a few die hard blokes like you still shouting his corner ,the FACT remains if he was serious about the remainder of his career he would have fought Golovkin ,win lose or draw he would have at least gained the respect of the fans .

Forget the fans Josey, Mundine should have fought Golovkin for himself!

He's the one who, at the end of his career, will have to look himself in the mirror and judge whether he actually achieved what he should have.

All Anthony will do is look at his bank balance and laugh his head off. Though I'm hoping his old man will give him a clip behind the ear for making such a dick of himself for a decade or so. Mum may want to get stuck into him too :deal

Mundine should just retire if he can't compete with the top guys anymore.

Look at him duck and weave all these challenges and then calls himself The Man.

Once he knew he wasn't good enough to beat Kessler in 2005, he re-assessed his career with Khoder and both probably agreed that they need to make as much money as possible.
