2010 - The year of 'World Domination'

    We're 5 months into 2010, and let's see how it's shaping up:

1/ Ducks the IBO mandatory re-match with Geale, resulting in the binning of the IBO middleweight title.

2/ The 154 pound IBO title farce that turned into an embarrassing non-event, and a let's leave this lame Pioneering 'quest' until a later date.

3/ The Medley 'blockbuster' - yeah another fight against a blown-up smaller division guy.

4/ The embarrassing ignoring of a home world title opportunity against Golovkin.

5/ Another disappointing match-up about to be announced for the end of June for 'vacant WBA International light middleweight title' - shouldn't everyone have one of those?

6/ We've got the Wood 'blockbuster' to look forward to late in the year - Wood the local 'hopeful' with a handful of fights and about 30 rounds total ring experience.

Factor in that team Mundine seduced Green out of retirement and although claiming they'd fight him at any weight, including heavyweight, have done nothing but diet ever since.

Probably leaves only one other window of time for something in anyway meaningful for 2010, the year of 'World Domination'.

Just warming up for the DSS show tonight.....look out nobody will be safe

2010 is looking good for Mundine.....apart for being out with the hip injury for 3 months

Hes had a keep busy fight V Deadly Rob Medley and he will have 2 or 3 fights at 154.

Not sure if hes contracted to fight Wood in December or if it can be moved.....if it cant be moved then I would be calling out Manfredo for the 160 IBO title he just won over the weekend to start building up choc against contender yanks....then its a better weight to be at to fight Wood later in the year.

If the date V Wood can be moved then its hello 154 :good

"If I was calling the shots" I would have won the purse bid and would be fighting Golovkin here in 5 weeks :good

    According to 'New Zealand' news:

'there is also speculation that he (Sonny Bill Williams) will return to the boxing ring on Anthony Mundine's undercard in Brisbane on June 30'.

    Woopie!

    Gary Gurr II?

Yes I do and I would rank the guy around 50 to 70....the important thing is the guy is ranked with the WBA at 154 inside the top 15

People need to remember this is Mundines first fight at 154

I heard mandy has been offered the role of the cowardly lion in the up coming wizard of Oz play. Rehersals start soon so he can't fight Golovkin.

Doubt if anyone here's forgotten that he didn't make the weight the first time they attempted 154, Ash.

Well if you ask Phil Austin it was not about making weight....it was about Khoder being silly and pissing the IBO off.

Remember the announcement to fight Rob at 160 was 7 days out.....choc can make weight :good
