Small club - TC has more aliases at ESB than the Mundine nuthuggers club has members!

Oh that bit is still right....it's just that Trout will be #1 in the WBA rankings and will get first shot at Alverez in December this year.

    Mundine will fight the winner.

How Austin could jump Mundine in the ratings is beyond me....Mundine has been in front of Austin for 6 months in the ratings and all of a sudden without a fight in the last year he moved in front of choc. :huh

Looks like Mundine fighting Wood has cost them the first shot IMO.

I said Marg would go because hes fighting WBC but didnt see Austin jumping choc without fighting while choc beat highly rated #7 a month ago :hey

The old saying from way back comes to mind.!!
"Trying to make a Silk purse out of a Sow's Ear" and when you look at the job they have done on Mundines very manipulated career so far,I must admit they have made a pretty good looking silk purse out of a very ordinary Sow's ear and I think the disgrace that is the WBA have had a good hand in this absolute Snowjob.!!!!

I agree they have done a good job to date save 4 of the last 7 fights.

Should have picked better fighters and would have made lots more money without much more risk and had an overall beter legacy

It will be interesting to see if he can grab another regular strap next year against the winner of Averez and Trout and defend it a few times

Been going on for some time Mate, heres a couple of shockers.
2004 brought a finished Sean Sullivan out of retirement.
2005 fought a disgrace in Rico Chong Nee.
2008 Krazy Kim,What was he thinking.???
2009 brought a finished Shannon Taylor out of retirement

He has fought 2 Top class fighters in his whole career number 1 was Kessler fair dinkum he ran for 12 rounds and Kessler one easily on points.

Then Ottke he was knocked out by Ottke who punches like a Girl(Mundines actual statement)

Since those fights he has been reluctant to step up to the plate,I think even he knows that he comes up short of the absolute Top Class fighters in the World today.

Just my thought but I think I am not far off the mark.!!!

Mate you forgot Jerez and Falinga :yep

Like I have always said.....Mundine has enough to beat the guys ranked outside the top 4 in each division...when he steps up against the best in the world he just fell short.

End of the day being number 5 in the world is a pretty good thing :good

If he has enough to beat the guys ranked outside the top 4 why does he continually fight the guys ranked outside the top 104? Or in Falliga's case top 1004!

It's why he'll always remain an anti-hero, and never a hero with Australian's, who simply can't stand loud mouths who never even intend to achieve what they boast.
