ouch poor Ash.this is the Aussie forum equivalent to Booradleys''24 hours until Sergio Martinez leaves the ring in a stretcher''thread in the General forum before the Pavlik-Martinez fight.atsch
By the end of 2011 this thread is likely to look just as ridiculous as similar threads that predicted great things for Mundine in previous years. Mid last year's promises of world domination began with the farce of all farces, in Falliga. 2010 provided these gems: Medley, Jerez, Waters & Wood. ...and 2011 looks like starting with Wood again - OMFG!
Other than Wood any fighter with the ability to throw a half decent right left hook combination to Mandy's head need not apply. Sort of narrows down the field quite a bit. Love the avatar CHB. Remember remember the eighth of December.
Cant wait for 2011, the year of redemtion for the pioneer, quick revenge dispatch and then its on to take to jmw title from trout (who will beat alverez). Lookin good Choc
Lookin' good the other night! Certainly had the best view in the house of the Acer Arena roof: This content is protected Believe his favourite roof is still the Arena Westfalenhalle in Germany though: This content is protected
he has a certain elegance about him when he's on the canvas...here he is vs Siaca: This content is protected
Another fight another roof. Nice of the deadly, deadly Siacca to provide Choc with an excellent view of the Entertainment Centre roof. Things are certainly looking good Biajoli. ....that is if you like looking at roofs!
Alvarez vs Trout venue named by Gabriel F. Cordero - Fight News dot com - 19th Jan 2011 WBA super welterweight champion Rigoberto “Español” Alvarez (26-2, 19 KOs) will defend his title against unbeaten mandatory challenger Austin Trout (21-0, 13 KOs) on February 5th at the Sergio Leon Chávez Soccer Stadium in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico. For Trout, this is good news and now he’s only waiting for fight night. According to manager Eddy Reynoso, all is in place for the bout which will take place at an altitude of 5,656 feet in Irapuato, which is located about 200 miles northwest of Mexico City. Sources indicate that “Español” Alvarez is sparring with Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and WBC Youth titleholder Gilberto Ramirez. The sooner these guys sort this out and Choc beats Wood in the rematch, the sooner the super match-up Ash told us about, (Mundine v winner of Trout v Alvarez) can get made. Can see 2011 being a stellar year for the Pioneer!
