Exactly mate, I always had my suspicions of ulterior motives when Mundine spraffed that load of shite about 9/11 on live TV. It was a guarantee that one day he'd have an excuse for never fighting in the US if the opportunity came calling :yep

 

Actually...

It would be one of the best things for Mundine's carreer if he can get a fight against Green in the US live on US tv. US media may find his persona very interesting (love/hate - perhaps mostly hate).

Also, Mundine probably wants the taste of a big (-ish) fight on US soil before he retire.

Ihope it happens. I am sure it is a much much better prospect than the alternative for Mundine...

I doubt he'll be fighting Allan Green.. I've heard his next fight will be in Perth, probably against Taylor.. And probably so he can call out Green in his own backyard.. And Green will probably say yes.

Mundine is open to criticism, just like any other human being.

He's not some supreme entity that can't be criticised purely because of his ethnicity.

dont be a fool irnbruman, she has frequently been racist in so many of her posts! she should be banned from the forum after some of the racist remarks she makes, not only against aboriginals but also against they whole of Asia. But knowing her she would think everyone from asia is the same regardless if they are from Thailand, Indonesia, China, Japan. Oh yes they all have funny eyes they are all the same!

Aboriginal could not vote until 1967, which is pretty poor.

Aboriginals were treated very poorly up until a few decades ago, children taken from families etc, told they were Indian.

But they they gets heaps of benefits, but there mentality is to be felt likes victims so all the benifits somehow seem to mke the problem an even bigger issue. Some whites feel that they should not get the benifits because they dont use as they somewhat could etc etc

I am not sticking up for Aboriginals at all, they have a good opportunity to excel like every other human, but it is a fact that they were treated poorly by the white man of our country and it has left a skidmark in society.

But Mundine sure has done more in boxing than many ever thought possible. I remember when he had a presser to say he was turning into a pro boxer, dressed in suit and all, says he will win a world title, man thought what a joke. Well, even in this world of ABC titles, 2 time world champion is what happened, and with his management team (those that call Khoder Nassser stupid, are stupid themselves) it is not all that unrealistic that he could go 4 time, somewhere around 50-5 (Mundine'e ego will see him go out with a few losses).

 

I think the whole racism thing should be put to rest now. It's out of place in this forum let alone this thread, and far too complex of an issue to be discussed here.

Let's get back on track.. The only 'Green' choc will be fighting in the near future lives in Perth and can dance alot better than I originally would have thought.

mundine will not fight at the actualy middle weight limit until he has to- ie when he is no.1 in wba and sturm will have to fight him!
