Woods won the Australian Contenter Series. Part of the prize was a fight against Mundine...

Its a joke of a fight...

    I hope he fights Cotto.

Cotto by brutal left hook KO.

Mundine will not fight Cotto, instead he will attempt to drop down to welterweight and call out names like Pac man. If Choc didnt want the rematch with Kessler or the Title opportunity with Golovkin then why the fu*k would he want to rumble with Cotto??

I see him attempting something stupid like droping down again, or he will fight for the IBO strap a light middle against the best Argentina has to offer......

No DJ, no vacant title, Cotto won the WBA title with the win over Yuri Foreman and is set to defend against JCC jr.

The WBC title is now vacant but Pac and Margs are going for that at the end of the year.

If Mundine does fight Cotto, i see it going much like the Cotto vs Michael Jennings fight. A one sided beatdown!

    I share your pessimism SJ.

Apparently Mundine has said Wood will be the last Aussie he fights.

Take that one with a grain of salt!

The same bloke said he was having his last fight in Australia about 4 or 5 fights back, and his last 4 or 5 fights have been where..........Australia!

    Yep, KO within 5rds

**** me drunk Ryan "I'm a neville" Waters was really putting it to Mandy, imagine with a heavy hitter in Cotto will do.

The Mandy that fought Green against the Mandy that fights at the moment are chalk n cheese.

Cotto v Mundine will never happen for two reasons:

    (1) Mundine refuses to fight guys the calibre of Cotto;

    (2) If Mundine grew a sack of was willing to step up Cotto/Arum would not have a bar of him because he brings jack shat to the table.

Mundine recently said he wasn't willing to pay the money to get legit titleholders out here so I can't see him forking out what it would take to get Cotto out here to defend his strap, nor do I see Mundine going over to the US to accept the smaller percentage of the purse to fight Cotto.

Bloke's going nowhere, he reckons Woods will be the last Aussie he's going to fight, but the rematch with Green will still happen, wait and see.

Mundine said as far back as the Siaca fight that he was leaving to fight overseas - his old man said it too - still hasn't happened and he's pretty close to shot now, so I don't think it ever will.

    Serious question:

How many titles has "The Pioneer" challeged for in his career?
