I couldn't believe how bad Mundine looked. He was turning his back and copping punches. That was the worst fight I've ever seen him have. I think his dad would have the towel handy if it ever did happen.

Well it seems to have worked for him some farkn how! lol, he is now rated #2 WBA Super Welterweight, Champion is Cotto.

Very intersting, i am trying to picture the fight now. Speed wise he is faster than cotto, strength wise Cotto wins easy, mmmmm nope i just dont see Mandy coming out of this one other than getting KTFO. Not sure what they are upto, do they see a weakness in Cotto we do not see because the path looks clear to me, cant get WBA title without fighting Cotto so why has he taken this route?

I am left thinking to myself, if his not going after Cotto, wtf is he doing at #2 and why has he got himself there? to what end?

 

WBA is a disgrace and has no credibility at all,thats why he is ranked number 2.!!!!!

Late last night I received a call that Chavez Jr has OFFICALLY PULLED OUT of the Cotto fight. I was told that Cotto had recovered well enough to fight on December 4th but Chavez Jr decided that he wouldn't be ready for Cotto but would be willing to fight Wolack instead on the same card. Arum is supposedly trying to now match Cotto with Kermit Cintron and try to matrch Cotto and Chavez jr in March/April if both are victorious. Peace!

From what i read the Interim champ gets a shot at the title, if the title holder is unable to do so then the Intermin champ becomes the World champ of that division and belt title.

Intermin champ is made when the world champ cant fight for medical reasons or w/e , so the top two guys fight it out and the winner becomes the intermin champ who then gets to fight the world champ once his able to do so.

Is cotto going somewhere? or he is sticking around in the Super Welter division?

EL BOXEADOR. En el inicio de la charla, Ulises comentó el trabajo que está haciendo aguardando la pelea con Falliga. “Estamos en la última etapa, trabajando bien para pelear por un título importante para mi carrera y obviamente, para Paraná. Estamos yendo a Santa Fe a guantear con profesionales que era lo que nos faltaba. Pero no desmerezco a los compañeros de mi gimnasio que me han ayudado muchísimo, y con quienes he entrenado me ha ido muy bien. Entrenamos la parte técnica buscando velocidad. Ahora ya estamos concentrados”.

Lo entusiasma el desafío y su responsabilidad, que le da cierta cuota de ansiedad, pero está contento. Al ser consultado cómo se siente, sin titubeos afirmó: “Estoy bien preparado, con mucha plenitud, ganas y ansias de que empiece la pelea y espero dar lo mejor, y que el título se quede acá en Paraná. Mi objetivo es el triunfo”

ORGULLOSO Y AGRADECIDO. “Es un orgullo para mí, tener un estadio lleno con gente alentando. Pero la verdad, por momentos, no escucho nada, sólo trato de oírlo a Roque. Cuando necesito apoyo, cuando atino a bajar los brazos, la gente me ayuda un montón, el público es muy importante”, destacó Ulises López.
