    why? most fighters lose.Mundine didnt feel the need to erase his Kessler loss.he would get no credit for it like Hopkins beating a shot RJJ.

    Credit in the bank my friend. One can never have enough credit in the bank.

    IMO Geale will have another tough day in the office. Looking good against Mundine will be difficult. After that they may decide to go for a triology.

    The p4p champion at middle is Martinez and he hasn't got a belt.the Germans are not going to usa to defend so that leaves geale.don't be surprised if shaw is already in discussions with Martinez people.

    By all means, use Mundine for a bit of extra media coverage, like on WWS on the wend, but I don't think Geale needs to take this fight right now, maybe later. Unless Geale loses badly and Mundine manages to achieve something further, but I think both are happy to just get some more exposure off each other for the moment.

    Geale said in his Channel 9 interview he 'wants to fight the best'.

    ...and the best certainly doesn't include the current day, stand-in-front-of-you like a lolly-pop man, version of Mundine.

    Fixed (pardon the pun :yep)

    Geale would be better off moving on and not giving that farce the time of day - everyone knows Geale really won that fight, rematching Mundine would only make it look like Geale acknowledges it as a genuine 'L' on his record.

    Sorry mate...I cant agree with that....I know quite a few posters on here that think Mundine won...not including the nuthuggers :hey

    It's not clear cut anyway and IMO 1 point win either way would have been fine....IMO I thought it would be a draw....I had choc up by 1 or 2

    Point is it was one of the best fights in AUST for ages....it was also one of the closest fights seen....hard to split...now Geale has gone and won the IBF title the rematch now becomes huge

    Well, 1 point either way could = a KD not ruled properly, right? :hey

    Anyway, I've posted my thoughts on the matter, and knowing your involvement with Team Mundine I can't help but think you have a vested interest in a rematch taking place, which is why you're trying to gauge how popular a rematch would be with your fishing expedition today :D
