Well it would certainly be out of form for Choc to take a risk period lol! I dont think the Sturm bout is actually worth that much to Choc as hes the challenger and its likely to be held in Europe, but obviously Green means CHI CHING!!!

Geale is a very solid fighter but Mundine is way 2 quick for him.....and dont think Geale will catch Mundine with a KO......Mundine on points by 4 or 5 rounds

I personally think Geale is perfect for Mundine but on the other hand Pittman would give Mundine a hell of a fight because of the speed he has and a fast long Jab. Either way Mundine beats both of them an it proves nothing YET again.

He claims he will do this and that and still finds a way to suck in all his fans and local fools who think they know boxing.

I think this is a great fight for both guys.....I guess the fight is subject to Geale beating Toney......talk about padded records....Toney has fights against 16 guys with no wins:rofl

Even the hard core aussie haters of Mundine would agree this is a great fight for him....Geale being a real world top 10 with a title....I think its perfect fight in the warm up for Mundine VS Sturm however fighting Pitman would be better for Mundine for Sturm preperation.

its a good fight no doubt, but mundine being mundine... the fight might not go ahead. offering 200g to geale is bull****. geale deserves a cut of seats and PPV... it would be a huge fight in tassie.
if its held at the silverdome where they had talks for the last geale fight down here. it would pull way over 5000 inbreeds ;)
but that place asked like 60g to hold the last envent. so sadly tassie will **** it up and the bloody sydney poofs will get to see it live.

How is Mundine going to 'smash' Geale?
What has Mundine achieved in his last 1/2 dozen or so fights that Geale couldn't?

Oh, that's right, he's gone the distance with a pile of journeymen, and he's even been dropped by a few of them. Truly stunning performances. :patsch

Get real, Mundine hasn't smashed anyone lately, let alone a worthy contender like Geale. Geale will trouble Mundine as he is just as quick, smarter, and can bang equally as good.

Realistically, this could go either way.

They should charge per head, then it'd be 10000 tickets.

Good point. Guess that does put things into perspective. I dont think any of mundines recent opponents could have beaten Geale so the point you make is totally valid.

I like Geale don't get me wrong but please stop referring to him as a top 10 world class fighter. It simply isn't true. He had a great win Dawson & thats it. I think Geale has the skills & boxing ability to make this a good fight but he just doesn't seem to have the power or speed to worry mandy, who I think will win a decision along the likes of 117-111.

Roscoe, what's your top ten for 160lbs? I don't really have a problem with those who want to rank him around the 10 mark. It's a shallow division.

he is ranked #10 by the ring which is a nice ranking for geale. i think he is ranked #3 by boxrec and thats a little over the top.

the shithouse form mundine has shown of late makes it a even fight imo.
