I think mundine will stay at mw provided he wins...green is at least 16mths away.....i think mundine will take a big fight at smw before green as well....maybe bika.....if he still has a belt

 

John Duddy looked ok today against an average opponent at 160. A Geale-Duddy fight in USA would be a great fight for Geale. Genuine 50-50 fight although i think Duddy would beat Geale imo. Ring mag rate Geale number 10 and he hasn't faced anyone with a pulse yet so lets see him step up and see if he is the real deal. Who else reckons Duddy-Geale would be a good fight ?

 

And that proves what? that even high profile fighters call him out he wont even acknowledge it, why the **** is he seeking to fight Geale and not Pavlik :hi::****

 

So what if Pavlik mentioned Anthony's name. The fight won't happen as Anthony doesn't have the balls or belief in his ability to beat Pavlik, similar to when he wouldn't face Kessler again. Anthony knows deep down that he can't beat these guys so he won't bother but will tell people they aren't offering him (a complete nobody outside Australia) enough $$$ because he is the P4P king. So in Anthony's deluded mind Pavlik/Kessler are ducking him. Anthony has shamefully run once, he will run again.

 

Dont agree mate...firstly no shame in running from Kessler.....Mundine got beaten but he did put up a good fight....I mean if Mundine had a bad fight then maybe.........no point going back again.

I think Mundines speed and evasion at MW give him a chance at Pav and Sturm.....for mine Pav will waist loads of punches and is a walk up fighter....Mundine will move and counter.....Pav wont have the same power as kess so Mundine wont fight scared.

Pav will have a big height and reach advantage but it sounds like nobody gives Mundine even a punchers chance?????

I dont think Mundine will run for PAV....GBP will set this fight up.

Geale is a great fight for Mundine.....hope Sturm is next.

 

Jesus Ashley you are one of the few left that still beleive his ****, no shame in running from Kessler? **** off, Mundine went on recored many times stating he wanted the fight again and once he actually had to fight him again he ran like a ****ing dog, and you think Mundine is a punchers chance against Pavlik, when was the last time Mundine the puncher ko'd anyone, he cant even stop blown up journey men these days...man get real

 

I will disagree with you on a few points. -

* I don't consider Mundine a puncher at 160, so he doesn't have a puncher's chance to stop Pavlik who went 12 with Bhop at 170 after being battered from pillar to post. Hopkins and Jermaine Taylor are both far far superior puncher's to Anthony imo.

* I do give Anthony a chance against Pavlik as Anthony is slick and quick but i do expect Anthony to fight scared and in his shell. Anthony won't do enough/throw enough to win rds imo. I see Anthony losing a comfortable/lop sided decision or maybe stopped if Anthony comes out with a positive midset to try and win the fight.

* I agree with you that Pavlik is a straight up walk forward fighter and will waist a lot of missed puncher's against Mundine, but will Mundine be firing back ?

* There is shame in Anthony from running from Kessler when he talks absolute rubbish constantly. He did put up a decent effort in their first loss so he should have taken the opportunity to avenge his loss to a guy who is well rated by the boxing world to back up his mouthy talk.It would have been a great opportunity for Anthony to make a mark on the boxing world.

* I agree with you that i hope Sturm is next. A good 50-50 fight.

* I don't really think you can say Geale is a great fight for Mundine as Geale has done zero so far although he looks decent. I think a lot of people on the forum (me included) are saying "Geale is a good fight for Mundine" because we are so used to Anthony fighting journeymen etc that any other fight would be great.Mundine should really be fighting someone the calibre of Sturm or better at this stage of his career rather than a relative novice at the top level in Geale imo.

 

Not talking about his mouth mate....just saying Kess is very big SMW and its no shame in not fighting him.....what I dont understand is why you guys dont see that its all hype saying I am the best and all that ****.....give me a break. :scaredas:

Yes Mundine is light on with the KO in the last 5 or 6 fights but he does have good power and has put many guys down and out.....styles make fights how did taylor beat bhop while bhop beat Pav and pav beat taylor....Mundine has a good chance of beating Pav at least 40%....if you dont think Mundine has the power to hurt fighters you are wrong.

Boxing is a business guys and all the "I am the best in the world" **** makes Mundine huge $....dont you understand...its all a show....hes not the best in the world....but he might just crap his way through enough to get another world title.

 

I think Geale is a great fight for Mundine because Geale is ouR top rated MW apart from Choc...Geale is smart and fast with good defense and will give Mundine some trouble...some think Geale will win.

Sorry mate no shame running from Kess....hes a big bad man that has Mundines measure...its smart to run from him while telling the public that he wants another fight....win win for mundine.

Mundine aint sitting down on his punches yet at MW or for the last 5 fights.....its his plan to never get hit again [not working very well ATM] so he wont plant the feet and trade....with is speed you dont need to anyway....he may change this soon.

 

Once again you contradict yourself saying Mundine is a light puncher but then say Mundine has the power to hurt fighters, so name the elite fighters he has ever hurt, actually name a fighter he has staggered in the last year. As i said get real.

ash... i understand your a mundine fan, i dont agree with some of your thoughts but u seam very genuine about them so at least your sticking t your guns.

mundine really should take the geale fight,its good for rankings and he beats australias best middle weight.

running from kessler was silly imo... because back then he may have had a good chance to outbox him.

i would love to see pav knock mandy into next week... if he was worried about kesslers size and power he should be shitting bricks about pavlik at middle. he destroyed rubio who is one tuff guy who really earned his title shot
