What do you guys think about this, If Mundine went down to 160, is that a fight you guys would be interested in seeing. I think Mundine would beat Geale.

I think Choc beats him easily.

But IF Mundine is a bit weakened by the move and his power is hurt by going down to 160 I think Geale will go the rounds with him. In a bit of a tactical affair where Choc just beats him to the punch all night.

I have a feeling that Mundine and Taylor might fight. Maybe next fight even. Thats if Shannon can get past Seran, which is no guarantee. I dont want to see that.

    What about Soliman fighting Geale?

    That wld be interesting.......not Mundine.

Put it this way Mundine on a world stage is a chance of beating anyone. Geale on the other hand wld get beat by all the belt holders and elite..... Sturm,Wright,Pavlik Miranda etc

I think Geale would clearly lose to Mundine at this stage, but yeh Geale i would tip to overcome Soliman.

Yeah at this point Mundine easy.

Funny how the guy that lived and breathed boxing, professionally trained since he was a child, 300+ amateur fights, Commonwealth and Olympic games success/experience, unbeaten professional record with a world title to boot, gets KTFO by a former footy player.

    Very true.
But Mundine just didnt one day put down the footy and decide to give boxing a go like Bowie Toupou.
He has been around boxing from a young age aswell.

I agree with WhatARock there's no doubt Anthony has been around boxing all his life and he for sure would have been throwin punches at an early age...

but it does kinda suck how Geale put so much time an effort into the sport and still gets sweet **** all publicity etc etc yet Mundine walks into the sport and suddenly he's the big star...

I know who The Man's fighting next, but my lips are sealed. :) I can assure you it's not Felix Sturm...

Actually this wld have been a great fight prime v prime.

Troy was my favourite Aussie fighter.

P.S Although Troy was probably 4/5kgs lighter then choc at prime weights

Pm one of us and whoever it is could say "I'm taking a wild stab in the dark but I reckon it'll be ..." and then we can all go back to hating/hugging him.

But really, has to be a top tier fighter surely? No more warm ups and bouts to get over injuries or rematches to confirm a KO win, just a decent fighter who could make Choc put up or shut up. Please Choc, let me support you once in a fight before you retire after shutting down the Argentine taxi trade.
