I think youll find its quite the contrary from the third degree, i was merely asking about an experience. And of course im interested but green and mundine are both heavily discussed on this board therefore most opinions are on them
It wil go the same way as the first, Green seems even stiffer these days, pity he don't fight like he does when he spars he is loose as and uses angles and movement, when the actual fights happen he is opposite.
It's 2012 mate. Choc can't keep Green off him for 12 and if he's 10kg lighter Green KO's him with a jab. Unless he can turn back the clock.
thats it you're right. Im surprised you didn't jump in before him when Aussie Opinion said he met him and thought he was a ****. call him a hater in caps and use multiple exclamation marks.
Forget the idea of Anthony Mundine allowing Danny Green to come in anything like 10kg heavier than him. Won't happen. They'll argue about weight for months in the lead-up if things progress that far.
Danny Green says Anthony Mundine should agree to a catch-weight of 185 pounds for rematch. http://www.sportsnewsfirst.com.au/articles/2012/04/17/mundine-s-career-on-the-decline-green/
I've met Green on a few occassions and have seen him be an absolute ***** to people and also go out of his way to be nice to people.....
Green would knock him out... But that aint saying much..Garth wood and sven pillow fists have already done it.
cheers :good. I guess it's all based on personal experience, and my experiences have all been extremely positive. I think 82kgs would be better personally, but it would still be a large fight even at this stage of each fighters career.
older fighters have to rely more on their durability, as their reflexes degrade. danny hasnt a bad set of whiskers.....compared to mundine. mundines strenghts were his speed, fitness and reflexes. all 3 of those assetts have deteriorated. his chin was always suspect. he's had a lot of fights in a short time, lost weight as he got older, instead of going into bigger divisions as he grew. starvation eats fast twitch muscle first...... mundine regularly gets flogged in sparring. does too many rounds. slogging it out like a workhorse, instead of the thoroughbred that he once was. mundine has been ko'd by a novice, is probably a bit punchy, lost his edge in speed and reflex... on the other hand, green never just relied on speed or reflex. he was always fit. green has grown old well as a boxer. he hasnt been flogged in the ring or in sparring, he has put on weight with age like you should, and is still mentally fresh. green goes into this fight fresh, eager to avenge his loss and end mundines career....thereby giving green bragging rights in the end, and a legacy that he can look back at and be satisfied. he is bigger, stronger, better chin, and not jaded like mundine. mundine has nothing but money to gain from this fight. he cant ko danny. he must outpoint him. if that happens itll be boring as ****, and no one will give him credit. if he loses, everyone will laugh, and green gets revenge. green kos mundine. mundine just hasnt the power or chin to beat a bigger, fresher green. green wants to beat the crap out of mundine.....mundine only thinks he wants to beat danny. hes already beaten green, so has less motivation for this fight. mundine would perform better if he had a challenge like trout. he'd **** himself like ali did after the 1st round against foreman. but it would bring out his best...or what is left of it. there may not be much, but i dont think a green fight can bring whats left of anthony mundine into the ring. whats left of mundine cant beat trout either. but...... .
Voted option #5. :yep In truth probably Green by stoppage at this point. I'd prefer to see Mundine vs. Geale II, though.
