Nasser is a ****ing snake - anyone else noticed how much Sonny Bill Williams is in the headlines these days, ever since Nasser became his manager?

"I wanna play State of Origin"

    "I wanna play rugby union"

"I don't like Willy Mason because he left the Bulldogs after he talked me into staying for less $$$"

Nasser knows how to make people sick of his clients, that's for sure.

I think Green retired a bit too early. That if he is not under a serious health threat.

He could have dealed with the Garay kid and then have had a couple of unification fights with Erdei, Tarver/Dawson/Roy, or a rematch with Mundine, before retiring for good. It would mean some more millions on his bank account and nothing else to prove.

He was at his peak, but I feel he left some things behind. Just hope he doesn't go the never ending trend of coming back at advanced age.

Green wanted to go out as champ.....then make his big return fight in a year or so against Mundine when Mundine finds out its a bit hard to get a title shot at MW.

This Mundine VS Green fight will set up his future WITH MORE MONEY from 2 title defences at LHW.

I think he will too, but he will look like a complete idiot if he signs on for a fight right now. I'm thinking a Mundine rematch when Choc is in the twilight of his career, probably his last fight. By then the hype will have grown and they'll both pocket an even better pay packet than what they'd get if the fight was held now. Titles won't matter on this one, its a good old fashioned grudge match that people are gonna eat up.

Huricn, didn't you say that you thought the fight won't happen in an earlier post? Why the sudden change of mind (or do you think he'll fight again, just not against mundine?) Not being a smart arse just wondering, thought you might know something we dont :yep

I think it could be pretty easy for green to announce that one last farewell fight 'for the fans' and would generally be accepted I think.

Thanks for all the bday wishes fellas, I'll get an avatar up of my green machine glove soon :good

sorry mate i confuse my self sometimes.

i do think that he will fight again just not against mundine and not in the next 12 months.
i have heard some things as to why Green did ritired all of a sudden but i dont think its up to me to say too much till i can confirm 100%

Haha yeah thats fair enough mate, you me both.

I pretty much share your opinion, I just think the hype that could be built up over a 12 month period for a mundine green II bout could generate some serious crust, and that could be enticing.

I don't know if there's any substance to this, but my old man was saying he heard Green's retirement may have had a thing or two to do with some mob of bikies. Probably not worth reading into but has anyone else heard something along these lines?

yeah i heard the bikie thing too.he went out and bought a new bycicle to keep fit!!!'bikies'! you are on drugs son.im glad im so bored and have no life so i can reply to utter garbage.the bloke retired cause he has been to the olympics and won two world titles in 2 weight divisions, earned stupid money, has 2 young kids, great opps for workin the future to earn more $ than he did in boxing.he never really associated with boxing crew apart from when training and i thinks some of you little people are stuck in a little bubble.maybe the bikies told him to retire, and im sure green would have listened.ATTENTION!!! HUT TWO THREE FOUR....FLIPPIN STUPID POST SAMBO.:verysad
