I'm tipping Medley. On one condition - that Mundine weighs 154 or lighter at the weigh in. I'm hearing Medley has been looking hot in the gym and a certain "contender" could tell you all about it. At 154, he is a real live chance imo, he wont be getting hurt and he can press the action and make Choc use his legs and test his strength. Late stoppage even.
For the record I think it will be a close fight......Mundine close UD.....Mundine going down to 154 will bring Rob back into the fight
**** I want to watch this fight knowing Medley has a good chance of beating Mundine. Otherwise, I don't want to ever watch another fight of Mundine knowing he is fighting a push over..So I don't know , help me out with this one guys. Is this a competitive fight that Mundine could lose or not?
If you think Green was drained fighting Mundine at 168 ( even though Green had most of his fights there) then yes Mundine will be drained and wont have as much power or stamina....so yeah its a close fight.
Mundine at 154 is stupid.. I say he zaps himself trying to make weight so Medley definately has a chance..
He will make it mate......Mundine has never been on a diet to make weight. He has started to diet last week so he needs to lose 300gms per week then 1.5kg's water 3 days out.
Mundine continues on his path to mediocrity. Obviously intending to end his career as a club fighter. Hasn't even got the ticker for a rematch with Geale. His fight with Medley is a typical Mundine cop out. Medley has only fought one quality opponent, Isaac Hlatshwayo , losing to him twice. When you think about it Mundine didn't do much better losing to Ottke and Kessler. But miracles can happen Go Robert.
