Mate Mandy's talent has never been in question as far as im concerened , he is a quality fighter . however any respect i had for him vanished up in smoke along with the Union Jack he burned in his "pop video" , also i have seen him on Aussie Tv calling himself the champ and saying **** to the host like yea man Joe Calzaghe is ducking me when we all know it ain't the case , remember Joe had the Real WBA Supper middle weight belt and Mundine was down under calling himself the Champ , :-( he fights blokes like Ric chong lee etc and rates himself as the "Best thats ever been " , He refused to fight Kessler for the Vacant REAL WBA titte and threw it in the bin rather than face the Dane , Then we hear he is going to Middle Weight to take on the best there is but fights Soliman again ( No Diss Sam Soliman ) A Nelly Kim type middle at catch weight and an unheared of Urugyan middle Weight ( Their only one ) so yes its a mixture of ambition and talking a complete load of bollocks out side of the ring that makes me dislike a fighter i once admired . :good

**** of you brown tongue lizzard, have never used any other name but my own on this site.

As for the comment .... don't understand the connection to the thread and I've never been to the US and never will with my criminal history.

What can I say.....I was young and had addictions to drugs, money and *****....I spent money on transvestite prostitutes and needed drugs to relax the muscles around my anus....

as I said, I don't use any other name here or in real life, except Frak, Gloria and Nancy. :smooch

Must admit, I've got no problems what so ever with him burning the Union Jack. JMO, but it's a flag that represents colonial oppression. Apart from all that, I reckon the union will be over within the next 10 years or so. The movement in Scotland is strong and getting stronger. What's it like in your part of the woods Josey?

The Union will never be over as in seperate countries for the Scots and us Welsh and the English we will always all be tied together in one way or another , i was talking to a few Scots last week up in Ayr Scotland and on this we all agreed . I myself would never burn a Danish flag because 400 years ago the vikins oppressed our little rock in the North Atlantic and feel Mundine's actions were not only a direct INSULT to my Forefathers who died defending this Island but to Every Member of the Commonwealth ( including Austarlia ) who has the Jack on their flag , it was a direct **** OFF to Australia as well but hidden under the pretence it was directed to the UK only , seeing as you asked .

Btw Ippy if Cook didn't run into the landmass now known today as Australia some other **** would have , ie the Japs etc so i think you got a good deal out of it as it provided an English speaking haven for your family to settle in . i just wonder what will become of your island when you do eventually let go of the apron strings ? it all ain't beer and skittles when your an island on your own , especially when a **** with a massive army is poised 26 miles away across the drink eyeing your island up as an extention to his empire as was the case in 39 when that **** Adolph was in his pomp

Don't disagree with your sentiments about someone else finding it, no doubt they would've. As I stated, it's just my opinion. Quite personally, I don't think there'll be a single change when Australia becomes a republic. It didn't happen in Canada, South Africa or anywhere else. Whatever relationship exists now won't change that drastically IMO.

If someone were to attempt to invade now, I don't think Britain would leap at the chance to get involved anyway. They didn't in Vietnam (not that that war was legitimate) and certainly not in East Timor when things could've gone completely pair shaped with Indonesia.

Listen mate if Australia was invaded or under direct attack I MYSELF would come running , when we stood alone ( And we were ****ing alone for a long time ) we will never forget the debt we owe our allies especiall the Anzac forces and neither would the UK parliment ( no matter what ****ed up party were in power ) the British public wouldn't stand for it , As for Vietnam well thats a conflict im proud our goverment didn't get us involved in and Auusie wouldn't have either if they didn't feel geographicaly at threat by the Communists . as for East Timor well who gives a flying **** what happens there all i know is Australia will never be left fighting alone , republic or not :good

I dunno mate, East Timor was one of the few times our Government did the right thing and stopped a human rights atrocity from getting out of control. Of course I'm sure there's ulterior motives, there always is at that level.

I guess really after reading your post that we're in an agreement to a degree. Nothing drastically changes when Australia becomes a republic, and I don't think that day is too far away.

Sounds like a referendum in Scotland isn't too far away either...

Ippy im not disputing your involvment in ET you had to keep the peace after independance or a blood bath would have ensued however its not close enough to the UK for me to have been concerned with , if you were getting your arse kicked over there you wouldn't have been just left alone , i wonder if the islands were not in such close proximity to Darwin if you would have bothered either ? . Im all for Australian independance as it makes no difference to the UK either way but its a different thing with Us and the Scots going for it , can Scotland finance its own country ? I know Wales would struggle despite all the romantic nationalistic bollocks spouted by people with alterior motives i reckon Scotland would struggle to . here in Wales we are a nation of roughly 2.7 million people and i would say 2-3 % of that figure are immigrants many of whom rely on benefits to survive , we would be ****ed as i suspect Scotland would . like it or not 48 million english subsidies both countrys to a certain extent .

I honestly don't think Scotland would struggle, if for no other reason than the Texas T lying off the coast of Aberdeen. It'll be interesting to see how it pans out over there. The Scottish Independence movement is gaining strength.

I wonder if Choc and Pintos would be upset at the way this thread has turned out :)

Where does this logic come from? :patsch
Mundine had his work cut out for him with his last 3 opponents, how the hell would he cope with the best? Mundine has never showed that he can mix it with the A graders and win.
