Another WBA farce...but all the others are joining in aswell now.

Aside from that, a pretty good fight for Choc...Alvarez is the human equivalent of Slowpoke Rodriguez though.

Mundine would be dropping the ball if he doesn't win this one pretty clearly.

Agreed there. Although i am clearly a fan of choc, his cards are always absolute **** compared to grange and green!

In saying that, fight in newcastle. and Alverez being a decent opponent, I will be going to it

i gotta laugh...you seriously know nothing about boxing if you think Alverez is a decent opponent!! look at who he has fought!! the only half decent fighter he has fought is b level austin trout and he lost in a shutout!! he is another stiff being rolled in for the man. he will beat him and find yet another excuse to dodge trout. if he ducks someone like trout, how the hell do you expect him to fight Cotto?!

Stewy im not even bothering with you, you still think he is dodging trout yet all the evidence proves he is doing everything to make sure the fight happens!

If you want to talk about bull**** opponents you need look no further than anything green has done in the last few years!

After watching green get smashed by a retired commentator/actor, pretty safe to say alverez KO green inside 6!

Look mate, Trout is looking to unify with Dzinziruk eventually...where do you think the WBA will elevate him to if he does?

I'll tell you where - somewhere safely out of Mundine's obligation to fight him.

Since you think Mundine is such a lion, tell me what happened when, after calling Kessler out for near 2 years after losing to him, Kessler became his mandatory after failing to unify against Calzaghe?

    Mundine ran down to MW.

What did Mundine do, after winning a close SD against Geale and being ordered to rematch him after a protest by Team Grange was upheld by 3 independant judges' verification?

He ran down to JMW but was happy to come back up to MW to fight Wood and got sparked :yep

Your boy hasn't even officially weighed in at 154 yet, but you think he's going to fight a genuine JMW for a world title?

Can't get any worse than being knocked out cold by a 10-fight novice ex-league player

i guarantee you he will NOT fight Trout, even though Trout is unproven at the top level, Mundine wont take the risk as he has not balls. he ran from kessler after becoming the mandatory and calling him out for 2 years. i used to be a fan of mundine, but after he kept dishing up taxi drivers for $50 a pop for the past 5 years i am over him!!
and i totally agree with you regarding Danny Green....he thought he picked another has been in Tarver, but was quite wrong. this isnt a comparison between green/mundine.... we all saw them fight... its debating the long list of cab drivers that mundine has lined up and constantly come up with excuses as to why he cant get a top opponent...and some deluded fans believe him
