    We all knew this was his next fight......top 100......next fight needs to be a big name or Mundine will drop down the list to number 5 or 6 SMW

    Same old crap from the haters. You guys are a joke. Mundine is still blind and will box, have any of you guys step in the ring and realised how hard it is to box let alone with only 75% total vision. This guy Mundine is fighting would non p4p kick all you asses, in the one night.

    Mundine is doing dam well to fight again and its a great thing.

    You guys say Mundine is a joke, but really its the other way around.

    Get ****ed mate, if Mundine is blind he won't be sanctioned to fight, it is not a factor in the equation so stop using it as some sort of proof of his excellence

    Mate, it's like this. Of course it's good that Choc is fighting again. He shouldn't be fighting unless he is 100% fine, visonwise, though. He is not a hero on the battlefield fighting for the survival of his country, after all! And I am sure he will not fight even this guy, unless his vision is 100% - they just won't let him!

    But if after this fight, instead of gunning for Bute and Froch he calls out the winner of Calzaghe v. Kessler and refuses to fight any of the Top 10 fighters unless he gets the Calzaghe v. Kessler winner, whilst "keeping busy" against non Top 10 opposition, he will have let his fans down.

    After this fight, unless he fights someone in the Top 10 within 2008 (let us be very generous, and not say "in his very next fight after this") Anthony is finished at SMW. Sad but true. :good

    okay banana peels and all you other choc smokers;
    - he could beat clarice with spit in both eyes
    - don't try and justify a guy with 2 wins in last 7 fights and is a quitter
    but
    I have said it before khoder is a guru for getting away with it. cumdine and khoder aren't the ones that should be blamed;
    - another easy million dollar pay day for choc
    - the wba needs a kick up the ass, they would take money off the homeless if they could
    - the nsw boxing authority should have the balls to not sanction the fight

    Im not sure NSW will sanction this.
    They have taken a stronger stance with Solomon Haumono recently, hence why he cant fight his usual share of taxi drivers from Fiji.:deal

    No joke, i don't think people realise your eyes are the most important thing when you're a boxer.

    What's the situation with Mundines eyes? When you say 75% vision does that mean he's half blind in one eye? If he's not gonna have 100% vision eventually i don't think he should be fighting, he'll have no choice but to fight guys like this all the time and noone wants to see that with a guy as talented as Mundine.

    I think the bigger problem is the people paying the money. Without them, there is no fight.

    If Mundine's vision is not a 100%, he should not fight. If the boxing commission allows him to fight not a 100%, that's terrible and those people should be ashamed.

    But since I don't think they would let him fight not being a 100%, then I have to assume that he is...

    So that's why I say, **** that lame "coming back from an injury" excuse. He had lost vision, he has it back. How is this still affecting his boxing skills ? It is not. It's not like he was out for 18 months because he broke a hand or needed shoulder surgery... He should be fighting decent opposition, not another taxi driver.

    By the way, Mundine won't target Bute or Froch or any other top 10 SM. Because, 1st of all, those guys aren't interested in Mundine's paper title...

    Secondly, Mundine would have to drop his precious paper title to fight Bute since the WBA regular champ can't unify and we all know Mundine won't do that.

    So all in all, the only way Mundine could fight a decent opponent is by having a decent opponent as his mandatory. He won the title in march so logically, that would mean that the fight after this joke of a title fight, should be vs his mandatory... unless Mundine surprises us all.
