I always thought Mundine made those 9/11 comments to deliberately burn his bridges in the US so he would always have an excuse for never fighting there :hey

No, he made those comments because he had no idea what he was walking into... lets face it, he was milked by Richard Wilkins quicker than a cow. The sad part is that Mandy's words are a true reflection of the half witted pretend muslims who paraded around the place in celebration immediately after the planes hit the buildings.. Mandy was too stupid to have any idea what he was crapping on about.

 

I reckon it was a bit of both - he's a stupid **** who doesn't know what he's talking about who thought he'd make a stand on behalf of his muslim brotherhood, and yes, Dicky Wilkins set him up beautifully for it, but I also think back then he had no intention of ever fighting in the US and therefore had no concern of the backlash it brought on him.

 

This isn't even a joke anymore. Once a credit for putting the sport in the spotlight in this country. Now hurting it. I really hope all this backfires on Mundine somehow and forces him into a situation to either fight someone good or hang it up for good. ****ing ridiculous.

 

And LOL at ppl arguing over this. Anyone can see it for what it really is, a farce. And if they're saying otherwise you are doing exactly what they want. There is no two ways about it so Why bother?
