He's had that for years. No point trying to use that as an excuse. Geale beat him to the punch all night. Mundine's problem was his hands were too slow.
Mundine's finished. In isolation, his hands are still reasonably quick, but everything else has slowed down and he's not the most tough/durable bloke going around. Doesn't punch like he did at heavier weights, either.
Hip injuries are serious, it definitely affected Mundine's performance that night. It was obvious as we all saw how easily a healthy Mundine sat Geale on his ass in the first fight.
Mundine is not a shadow of the fighter has was 5 years ago when he first met Geale. Geale clearly demonstrated that in the return bout.
