Mundine is nowhere near as good as he was around that time. Huge waste of talent. After he beat Green, he could have done thing's at the elite level but he was only interested in being the big fish, here in Aus.
don't agree mundine could have 'done things' at the elite level, though he could have been in the mix for bigger fights have a lot of respect for his transition from rugby to boxing though he's his own worst enemy 9/11 comments, trying to sell himself as an ambassador for aboriginals and then making comments about their extermination, and no clue as to how to actually get big fights that will get the networks interested
I have no respect for any so called boxing fan who doesnt think lara is good. Were it not for a lack of support from his own promotion and 3 complete robberies he`d be an undefeated fighter right now. But its all about canelo for GBP. Cant wait till it all comes crashing down for them.
mundine wasnt much when he was in prime, never mind this mundine. if lara cant dominate him he needs to stop calling anyone out
Ten years does change a fighter, but sometimes its a positive change, you guys have got to understand that mundine started his pro career at 26 yo, NO AMATURE learning curve, he was straight from another pro sport. early in his career his amazing natural athletisicm was winning him fights, he had so many bad habits but could get away with them due to his natural gifts. Now mundine is seasoned, most of the bad habits are gone, he is a much smarter fighter now, and still holds on to most of his phisical gifts to an extent, phisicaly he has slid somewhat, BUT boxing is not primary a phisical sport, the majority is MENTAL, mundine now is at his boxing peak mentaly, and still has enough athletisicm to give guys fits. Yes 10 years can change a fighter. choc overpowers lara to a tko stoppage, mid to late rounds.
