Mundine vs Lara

    Mundine said he will be sending an offer to Lara. I honestly dont see this as a bad fight at all. Let's be honest, Lara is not fighting GGG, not because he is afraid but because of the tv network fiasco. Lara is also not fighting Canelo anytime soon. So why not Mundine?

    Should be a decent fight, but probably in Australia and Australian tv time

    If Mundine wants a shot at Canelo or Mayweather, as he claims, the fight won't be in Australia. GBP/Lara are not going to travel.

    money talks baby, and mundine has lots of it, they will travel if the offer is good enough which was the case for mosley, kessler etc. mundine wins this btw.

    mundine will want the fight down under but it won't sell...
    hell, the mosley fight didn't sell and vlad Wharton (promoter) pulled the pin on it, refusing to pay mosley the money that was owed to him and leaving jeff fenech out of pocket!
    mosley was smart to demand the money owed before the fight, because Wharton still owes $$$ to james leija for the tszyu fight, so I don't know how many others he's screwed over

    hes prob getting approx 200 - 300k in his last few fights, it would be a very reasonable offer for team mundine to double that figure. if the cuban is serious, he gets two paydays for the price of one, mundines name on his resume, a great preperation fight to help prepare for a supposed mayweather fight down the track, if hes confident he will take the cash, but me thinks he will be unreasonable and try to bleed team mundine for a similar figure to mosleys purse. they wont go for that though.

    mundine wins this fight, he will be up in every sense of the word, tko in 8. choc is being underestimated big time.

    I agree Mundine can win this and is being underestimated. The money will be the issue as I think team Mundine will only offer between 200 to 400K as he lost money on the Mosley fight.

    hurt? more like stunned for a few seconds, legs did not go anywhere, hurt is what mosley was when choc landed that right hand counter, legs gone, hold on, down.

    Well Mosley carried the "name" that is why he got that pay. Lara doesn't have a fan base in the US much less in Australia. This fight if it happens won't be in Australia. Might be good for an undercard of any PPV but no where near the main event on regular Showtime unless it has a stacked undercard.

    yeah, hope its more like 400k as they may snag him for that, 500 gets him hook line & sinker i think, provided he is as confident as he comes across on twitter.
