I know Mosley is getting...in fact probably way past his best. But i think people are going way over the top when they say Mundine has cherry picked a name to boost his record....i believe choc thinks that he has Mosley covered but i'm thinking he has bitten way more than he can chew. Look at Mundines last few fights excluding Geale...McKart,R Alverez,Tolliver, Wood(x2) and Waters. In all those he didn't set the world on fire. Mosleys last few fights excluding Pablo Cano... Canelo Alvarez, Pacquiao, Mora, Mayweather. And before that Magarito, Mayorga, Cotto. Granted Shane did lose most of these but he was far from disgraced giving as good as he got in most. I honestly think Sugar will be too street smart for the rapidly declining Mundine. The only thing that would make a huge difference is what weight they fight at with Mundine a big middleweight compared to Mosley usually at Welterweight
Without seeking legal advice he wouldn't sign no contract so its yet to be signed. I think Mundine should have waited until he got a signed contract before saying the fight was confirmed.
It's being reported all over the net as confirmed, but yeah, it all traces back to Mundine saying as much with no corroboration yet from Mosley or his people...
True. Didn't notice the date. Oh well looks like Shane is ducking him and Mundine will have to fight Sherrington.
Mundine also said in a video interview that it was official, nothing is official until the contracts have been signed by both parties. No doubt if it doesn't happen Mundine will say that Mosley is ducking him. He also mention Floyd in the interview, cant beat Geale but wants to fight Floyd lol
Really don't want to see Mundine beat an old Mosley, hope Mosley wins. He always goes on about being a three time world champion. Which champions did he actually beat to earn those titles? Guy has done well financially for himself esp compared to what he would have made in the NRL but he's got to stop calling himself the greatest athlete. Most people outside of Australia have no idea who he is.
If Mundine get stopped the winner is the Boxing public who dont get fleeced anymore. Will be interesting to see what sort of rubbish get served to us on the undercard also.
From a marketing perspective, Mosley holds the most value for Mundine... Its still a shot duck vs a quack though....
nobody gets forced to pay for it. if people r silly enough to hand over money for mediocre fights, then good luck to bumdine for making a quid.
While Mosley is past his prime and has lost 3,drawn and won 1 ,of his last 5 fights his losses have been to top notch opponents and he has a granite chin. Mosley KO if this happens.
