If Mundine gets stopped, he says "What do you want? It was SUGAR SHANE!" and is back to a full PPV schedule in 2014.
Mundine now will be remembered as the guy that fought shane mosley...Green is virtually only known for fighting Roy Jones,as was Glen Kelly..as is Shannon Taylor
Can't post links so google MOSLEY VS MUNDINE SIGNED FIGHT HYPE. Aaah **** it here's the article. MOSLEY VS. MUNDINE SIGNED; DATE AND VENUE STILL BEING FINALIZED By This content is protected | August 16, 2013 This content is protected According to Golden Boy Promotions matchmaker Eric Gomez, three-division world champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley has signed a deal to face former super middleweight champion Anthony Mundine. Although all of the details have yet to be finalized, the fight will be contested at 154 pounds and is expected to take place some time in October. "The fight is signed. Waiting on exact date from Vlad Wharton [Mundine's promoter]. Sometime in Oct. An announcement will be coming soon," Gomez notified FightHype.com via email. Earlier this week, it was Mundine who initially revealed the news that he would be fighting Mosley, informing his social media followers that "THE WAIT IS FINALLY OVER! I will be fighting Sugar Shane Mosley at 154p. Lets go!" At the time, however, Mosley had no knowledge that the fight was a done deal. When informed of Mundine's comments late Tuesday evening, Mosley replied, "I haven't heard anything. If he signed and Golden Boy looks over it with J [Prince] and them, then let's do it. I haven't seen the contract yet though. I told the people once the money goes in escrow, then I'll sign the contract. Simple as that!" Apparently, some time between Tuesday and today, someboy must have showed Shane Mosley the money. As it stands right now, with both fighters signing, the fight is officially a done deal, but there are still a few items that need to be ironed out. Judging from Mundine's comments, the bout will indeed take place at the jr. middleweight limit of 154 pounds. Promoter Vlad Wharton, however, is still finalizing the minor details of the date and the venue. Once that's done, an official announcement will be made in the coming days. Mundine hopes that a victory over Mosley will land him a future showdown with undefeated pound-for-pound king Floyd "Money" Mayweather.
Bad Left Hook has an interview up where Mosley confirms the fight is on and that he gets 1.5 mil - This will be a great fight but I don't know who the favourite will be - mosley did look pretty damn good against cano and Mundine aint looked all that great for a while - Smart fight for everyone - including the fans - how awesome to get Mosley downunder before he is totally shot (like Toney was but lets face it both these guys are past their primes but Mundine aint known for his power so it's not too dangerous an opponent for shane if he wants to continue) I'll be watching.
Thats why no one heard a peep from Mosley whilst Mundine was sprouting off on his FB wall that the fight was a done deal. In any event Mosley wipes the floor with Mundine.
Mundine is a perfect match-up for Mosley. With his cute style of allowing his opponent to tee off on him, and try to shoulder roll everything, Mosley could make very short work of him. If Mosley could find Mayweather's chin with his right than he'll have no trouble finding Mundine's. And the right's he landed on Mayweather would drop Mundine down for the count for a week.
Last I checked that's still where Los Angeles is... Though any day now it could split off and drift into the Pacific, where it would be up for grabs. Hollywood could be a real boon to a Samoa's economy. :think
lol IB, i just didnt think the fight would be in USA because Mundine wouldnt make much money from the fight, he makes his money in AUS because he can sell the joint out and he makes PPV deals. Mundine must be reading ESB because he just posted an update about it lol..
