Yeah the options are so little....everyone doesnt wanna go near him unless they get a unrealistic paycheck. Pavlik is the champ here.
I still dont think Mundine VS Pavlik will be made but Barry Michael talked about the fight being made and that maybe talks have started on fox fight night. He also said it may be just talk/ ****.
Arum has held talks with a bunch of people and guess what...Mundine's name hasn't even been mentioned once. As posted, it's Pavlik v Williams or Pavlik v Allan Green.
I just read on the fox friday night card Mundine VS Kim at LHW? I thought Mundine was going MW and just got rated down there. :huh Looks like the Green VS Mundine fight has been made.
Like Green was going to KO Mundine r all those years hey. That ended up a schooling. Since Mundine has improved through time since Kessler he aint even looked close to being beat. From what I see in Pavlick, Mundine is a huge chance to not only win, but take him to school.
If you are calling the Mundine/Green fight a "Schooling"......then I assume that you agree that Kessler took Mundine to School as well....:yep Can't have it both ways nutsucker....
If Mundine is fighting at LHW for Crazy Kim, it must be a tune up for the Green fight. This isn't the most exciting news. I doubt he'd drop down to MW to fight Pavlik within 2-3 months if he's fighting at LHW next. Hopefully, Mundine and Green fight before the end of the year. Even better would be Mundine getting a gig at the WBC light heavyweight strap that Dawson appears to be vacating, highly unlikely. Win this belt then defend against Green, that'd be something special.
you may be right but i doubt we will ever find out.i like danny but he is a level below the top fighters.mundine at MW against pavlik would be like a repeat of the kessler fight IMO.
pavliks jab is that stiff, and mundines chin is that brittle, its possible pavlik will ko chock with his jab.....one shot.
Oh yes Oz, Kessler beat Mundine very well. But the Mundine on that night would have lost to Green. If we take out my so called nut hugging, and the hate from haters, the fact is Mundine has improved over time. The fight against Kessler helped Mundine improve a lot. In sport you can sit down and work out where to improve, but most of the time you improve without even knowing what it is, its just experience. The eye and bicep probs held Mundine back a bit, but I think he showed enough in his last 2 fights to say he is back to where he was in the Green/Soliman fights of 06/07. And given that, Mundine would be very hard to beat.
