Saul Alvarez is a terrific fighter but more hype at this stage given his young age and exciting style.

Mundine certainly has a realistic chance of winning this fight should they meet in the ring!

Two years ago Kermit Cintron drew with Sexy Sergio and beat Angulo. What equivalency can we find in Mundine's career in the last 5?

Mundine is evaluated by Aussie fans and even some knockers on potential potential. We would write off any foreign fighter in a heartbeat with a loss to a Garth Woods type.

If I recall correctly that draw was a robbery ( not 100%). where do u rank angulo, is he a b grade fighter like green and geale?

I'm not saying choc would win but to claim choc has no hope against a smaller Realitively green guy is pretty unreasonable.

C'mon Whopper.........its pretty unreasonable to think mandy would have a chance against Alvarez. I mean I do know of another green horn that blew mandy out in 5 rds. Sorry mate I shouldn't keep bringing this up.

I think Mundine would have some sort of chance against Alvarez.

In saying that, its not a fight Mundine would go anywhere near anyway,
as it would more than likely end in him being knocked out early.

If he survived being knocked out, he could take it on points.
Its possible, just very unlikely that he'd last to the bell.

he's had 39, i did not know that.

Either way i stand by my comment, its unreasonable and haterrish to say he has 0% chance.

Incredible for a man who is only 21 years of age. I think he began the pro ranks at 15 or so.

I just hope he dosen't burn out young, or punch another light fly weight into hospital :yep

These Mythical matchups are a load of ****.

Ishida, a fighter who could'nt get past Crazy Kim TWICE and lost to Rigoberto Alvarez in 2010 and goes on to punch the **** out of Kirkland in one round ffs. Its boxing, if we all are so ****ing confident at picking winners why not sell the ****in house and bet on boxing and all become millionaires.

Alvarez is 21 has had 40 Fights for 39 Wins 29 by KO and 1 draw, now with that type of Resume for a bloke that is 21 and make no mistake he is all class,Mandy will be avoiding this bloke like the Plague,if by some freak of nature this fight ever eventuated it would be a very early night for Alvarez.!!!!!

Mundine is an old man and has been fighting numpties for god knows how long now. Fighting any young hungry undefeated fighter who has a few decent wins already and is NATURAL at 154 lbs would be bad news for Mundine who is a walking corpse at 154 and weak as ****. I would heavily favour Canelo Alvarez to defeat Mundine.
