I just hope he beats Sturm because I thinnk Mundine would be willing to fight the winner of Pavlik vs Abraham http://www.smh.com.au/news/sport/articles/2009/03/31/1238261564514.html http://www.theage.com.au/news/sport...aussie-swansong/2009/03/31/1238261568991.html
sturm is not the chump most people on this site would make him out to be, hes beatable sure but hes got class is always in shape and boxes smart mundine doesnt have the power to halt him nor the ability to out-box him imo although I agree Sturm does fight a lot of guys that though brave and up for a scrap simply arent on his physical or boxing level
We'll see. Arum considers him 'tainted' because of his remarks. Of course if Pavlik beat him down properly, that would make up for it.
Mundine is slowly destroying the brains of Australians... via his ***** manager Khodder Nasser. Dont hold your breath for anything soon, as these names have been thrown around for a while now. Mundine is to fight Daniel Geale very soon, for the IBO M/W title in Brisbane.. Its incredibley hard to second guess anything Mundine will do, at any given time, against any potential opponent. Its just a game of 'wait and see'. Sturm and Pav would be worthy fights, assuming Mundine is worthy himself. Its a complete frustration for all in Oz who want to see Mundine move on.... and his time IS running out. Take a look in the Aust Boxing Forum. You'll see the consuming numbers of Mundine threads.
Mundine's talk is a bit ironic to me. Last week on some thread or another I gave a short run down on who's who at 160. Although I rate Mundine highly at the weight, I also said, "Mundine will talk about the big fights, but never make them."
