Any top 20 that can box beats Mundine. Anyone with Dannys style gets beaten. But forget this thread, Froch dont fit into Mundines plan, he's not interested in fighting anyone that poses a risk. Unfortunately Anthony doesn't want greatness on the world stage, only in his mind.
That's one of the typical negative highlights of Mundine's career, which, like Guzman's or Cambell's could've been much better. He's the only man to lead on all the card vs. Sven Ottke and the guy who can't knock down a fly landed a 'lucky' temple shot and Mundine was out cold. Performs very well vs. Kessler, Green and Soliman, then almost loses his vision due to a silly mistake to never look the same again. Picks up the title than comes vs. Siaca totally unfocused. So to be fair, we should predict Mundine of 2nd Soliman fight vs Froch of Pascal, and I say Mundine schools Froch. Mundine of the Geale fight probably loses to Froch, but Tony's style is bad for Carl any time of the day.
Mundine being ahead on the cards at the time of the stoppage in the Ottke fight is a myth. He was behind on all 3. He was deducted 2 points for headbutting earlier in the fight. Boxrec may still have that comment posted, but it was put there by a nuthugger and is not based on fact, just a rumour that was started years ago and is perpetuated to this day. PS - Froch has too much heart for Mundine.
Pretty much 50/50. Mundine wouldn't be able to miss Froch but Froch would make him fight at a higher pace than he is use to. Although Mundine would make Froch miss a lot which would frustrate him and as shown in the Dirrell fight, reduce his workrate significantly. Mundine doesn't really hold particularly manly values so he wouldn't be afraid to run when need be. Kessler's much sharper than Froch and Mundine managed to stay on his feet for 12 in that fight so it isn't that hard to see him lasting 12 against Froch, particularly if he manages to frustrate him a little early. Probably something like 7-5 either way, would give Froch the slight edge due to his grit and determination.

Mundine could have been a very good boxer at world class level. But he chose to fight stiffs in Australia, and talk ****. A bigger waste of potential and talent would be hard to find.
